Evie's POV:
Melody is giving us the silent treatment of how original. I laugh to myself. "Hmm, the silent treatment, huh" I turn to Mal "oh, do I know this or what. Mal would always give me the silent treatment after an argument and knew I was right" Mal laughs.

"Careful, Mel, I hope you aren't ticklish because that's how she always got me to talk to her" She continues to stare quietly out the window, not even glancing over at all.

"Melody please?" She flinches at her full name, but it doesn't look over. I sigh "at least say something, so I know you're somewhat okay, please?" I beg

"I'm fine, okay! But the people on the Isle are not!! Like Uma, Harry and Gil. They all deserve better. They all deserve a second chance, just like you guys! And I won't stop until I give them that freedom of a second chance." She burst out. Is she kidding?

"Mel, Uma, and Harry captured and tortured you for weeks!" Mal shouts back.

"You think I don't know that? Do you think I don't see the forever scares on my body? Because I do! I will have to live with my mistakes; we all do, but it's doesn't mean they no longer deserve a second chance! It was my fault that I went over there unprotected and unprepared, but there's nothing we can do about it now. Without you guys, I won't be able to give them what they need and deserve. Please don't give up on them and me," She says. As tears are about to spill from her eyes, she looks back towards the window before she thinks we see them. "Please, I promise I am fine. Just don't tell my mom and dad they would freak out and never let me leave the castle again, just like when I was growing up." I sigh

"Are you sure you want to let Harry and Uma off the Isle after they did to you?" Carlos asks, breaking his silence.

Melody nods and looks at the others and me. "Mal? Ben? Evie? Please!" We look to one another.

Ben speaks up, "Melody, I promise t,o help you, but if I am asked by your parents what happened to you because it's obvious you well are no longer the same after the Isle, I will NOT lie to them. They deserve to know, but they also deserve to hear it from you first." Ben finished, and Mel nodded her head and looked at Mal.

"Fine", Mal sighs ", but we will not lie for you."

She looks at me with her puppy dog eyes.

"Same for me; I love you, Mel. You're one of my best friends, and I don't want anything to happen to you again," I say

"Me as well", Carlos and Lonnie answer.

She smiles slightly and thanks us all, then turns toward Jay, still driving us back.

"Jay, I know that I was being reckless, and it won't happen again. But please," he ignores her.

He loves her and would do anything to keep her safe. The limo stops, and he gets out without saying anything. He's pissed.

Melody turns back around and rushes out of the limo, angry. She was running in the direction of her old dorm room. We all rush out.

Melody's POV
I run out of the limo and to my old dorm. I hear Mal yelling for me, but I don't turn around or stop. Evie tells her to give me some time alone, and I start walking.

I get to my dorm and sink into my much-missed bed. It's been a month and a half since I have slept in my room.

Plopping down on my bed, I stare up at the ceiling. If I am truthful with myself, I am not okay at all. As much as I want to hide it, I cannot. Standing at my large three angled mirrors, I stare at myself. I did not even recognize myself. I have bruises and cuts up and down my arms. I strip off my clothes to reveal more. I turn to see my back, and it's covered in blood. I sigh and walk into my en-suite, drawing myself a nice hot bubble bath.
While waiting for it to fill up, I look at myself in the mirror. My body is covered in dried blood. I can't see where it's coming from.

A few minutes later, I turn off the faucet and get into the nice warm water. As I sink into the warm water, every cut on my body starts to sting as it finally gets clean. The one on my back hurts the most. The water turns to a dark, dirty pink colour.

20mins later, I finally decide it's time to get out. I drain the water and grab my rob and step out. After drying off, I put on my undergarments.

I stand in front of my mirrors again. My body is clean, and my cuts are no longer covered in dry blood.

As I turn to look at my back, there's a knock on my door. Hesitantly. I walk over to the door, looking through the peephole to see Evie. I sighed in relief that it wasn't my parents.

"Go away; I don't wanna talk!" I shout through the door.

"Melody, we have to hurry; please, your cotillion is tonight!" What? No, it can't be mom said it was two months away. I quickly run to my phone and calendar. I have messages wishing me luck, have fun, you'll be a great queen, and some from my parents are saying I better not be late. Oh shit.

I am cut from my thoughts when Evie walks in with a cart full of all her designer needs. Wait, how did she get in?

"Close your mouth, Mel; you'll eat flies if you don't", she addresses my shocked expression of how she came in. "Before you ask, I was given a key from your mom and told to make sure you're not late with rigorous instructions." She says

"Evie, I-I", she cuts me off.

"No, no excuses. We have 8 hours to get you ready and cover your cuts and bruises." I nod. Thank God she knows we need to hide them. She starts rushing around, and I grab her hand, stopping her in her tracks.

"Thank you" I pull her into a hug. She hugs back gently then we let go.

"Okay, time to get to work!!" She smiles and pushes me into the en-suite with my dress. "Put it on and come out and we will start alterations" she then shuts the door and leaves me to put the dress on.

Evie's POV:
I am worried for her. She doesn't seem to be herself, but I am unsure who would, after what she went through. Quickly I send a text to Mal and Ben saying I am in and she'll be there tonight!

Once my phone is back in my bag, Melody walks out. "Oh my God, Mel, you look gorgeous" she smiles big, but you can tell it's fake.

"Please come stand on this and put your shoes on!" She does as I ask while facing the mirror. I look from the bottom of the dress to the top.

Oh no! Not good, not good at all. I gasp, and she turns towards me. Hook branded her like he almost did to me so many years ago.

"Evie, what is it?" She asked, concerned as I continued to stare at her

"Um, Mel, have you looked at your back since you've been home?" She shakes her head. "Okay, we have a problem but do worry, it can be fixed with Mal's help. Harry carved the shape of his hook into your back. Would you please change back into your robe? I need to call Mal. I will be right back." She turns to see her back in the mirror and looks like she will vomit when she sees his signature mark on her back and rushes to the restroom.

I immediately pick up my phone and call Mal.
