Chapter 14

Jay's POV:
We're on our way to the broad locations of where my Melody could be. I'm ready to fight whatever comes my way. I love her and would do anything for her. 

After 3 hours, we're still around 5 hours away.

"Carlos!" I shout and he quickly stands up from his laying position he had been taking on the top deck lounge couch.

"What's up Jay? You alright man?"

"Yeah I'm fine just need to distract my mind from everything. Will you train with me?" I ask tossing him a sword. He catches it with no issues.

"How hard?" He asks

"Like we're up against your worst nightmare or heading straight for the huns."  He nods and swings quick and hard at me not even giving me the chance to react.

I block his swing, pushing him back.

Swing! I imagine Harry's face on his and I go full out. My anger starts to rise and I can feel my adrenaline pumping through my veins. The hatred, hurt and fear. All comes out. My body takes over and I can't stop.

"Jay!" I hear "chill man" someone says my vision blurs but I still can stop.

I trip Carlos and stab the wooden floor board a centimeter away from his chest. My heart is racing as I realized the look on Carlos' face. Worried but at the same time... he was terrified.

Shaking my head and snapping myself out of it. I reach out my hand and help him up.

"Sorry, I don't know what got into me." Did I just apologize? Who am I? Auradon has seriously softened me.

"It's alright man! I understand but let's save that rage for the real Harry." He says. Patting my shoulder. I nod my head slightly and look around to see Evie ready with a bucket of water. I smirk and chuckle.

"Ev what were you going to do with that?" I ask and she smiles.

"Oh uh it was the first thing I could find." She was always a horrible liar.

"Oh really? The first thing you could find?" I step closer to her "A bucket of water huh?" She takes a few step back and nods. I quickly grab the bucket from her and dump it on her. She just stands there acting like it never happened and just looks behind me.

Turning around I see Mal and am immediately soaked in freezing cold water.

"Holy shit that was cold!" Evie walks around me and stands next to Mal.

"Thanks for playing Jay. You definitely lost this round" wait Im confused.

"How did only I lose? We're both soaked" I laughed as her and Mal high Five.

"Oh that would be because my water was nice and warm like a shower while yours was like nice bath full with ice." She laughs. "You can't put out a fire on your own or with hot water"

"You both planned this?" They both nod. "Oh good to know!" I smirk as I pull them both into a cold group hug. They both scream as Carlos dumps another bucket for freezing cold water on all of us.

We all laugh. Wow this is just what I needed.

"I love you guys" Evie says and we all say it back.

As we pull apart Mal's phone starts to ring. She rushes back over to it at the table and answers it.

"Hello?" She speaks into the phone and puts it on speaker.
