Chapter 12

Melody's POV:
"Melody, honey, are you almost ready, dear?" I smile and relax as my mother enters the room. Walking right through the barrier proves she is who she says she is! She looks at me and smiles with tears in her eyes.

She grabs my hand "oh sweetheart, and you look stunning! Evie, you did amazing on her dress. Thank you so much!" She smiles and grabs her hand as well, thanking her.

"Melody, are you ready?" Mal asks, "your carriage is here for you!" I smile at them, "only if you guys are, " and they're not. Mal grabs her book and does a spell that puts them in their outfits and gets them already. Mal smiles "we are now!" We all laugh and head to the limo. I lean on my mom's shoulder once we get into the limo.
"I missed you, mom", I mumble so only she could hear.
"I missed you too, Mel Mel", she smiles and kisses my forehead "how has school been? I haven't seen you in a while, Hun or heard from you." Glancing at Mal and Evie, clearly getting the tell the truth look. I ignore them and lie. "It's been good, still struggling with biology four, but I have a B, so not as bad."

"Melody, that's awesome. Your father and I are so proud of you!" I wish I could tell her, but it isn't safe for her to know yet. Not until I know for sure.

"Mel", Evie starts, and I look up at her with a worried face hoping she doesn't say anything. "This is where you enter", she smiles. I smile and hug my mom. "See you guys soon!" I get out, and my guard leads me to my room on the ship until I need to go up in about half an hour. I thank him once I am safely inside the room. I text Mal and Evie, letting them know I made it in safe. After I send the text, I hear a thud outside my door.

I go near it but don't open it. "Hello? I look through the peephole and see my guard still standing there I sigh in relief. "Grimsby? Are you okay?" I ask

"I am my lady, are you okay?" I sigh

"Yes but do you mind coming in and checking the place to make sure it's safe. I don't know why but I just got a bad feeling." I unlock the door and let him in.
"Of course, anything for my Queen" he walks in and check the room and en-suite. "All clear Miss. Melody! Also, 5 minutes till we walk"

"Thank you! I will get my shoes on."

Jay's POV:
We all finally arrive on the ship after their carpet walk and E and M are filling us in on what's been on since we have arrived back in Auradon.

"So do you think it could be someone from the isle?" I ask with concern in my voice. I scan Evie's face before she answers and usually I can get some kind of answer but not this time.

"I don't know, I think it was just a friend messing with her to be honest but we can never be too cautious after everything that has happened." We all nod in agreement then hear trumpets play.

"Introducing King Eric and Queen Ariel" the announcer yells in a very formal voice. I smile widely knowing Melody is coming out next.

The trumpets play again and they introduce Melody as queen of Atlantica . She walks out smiling widely excited to be queen.
Starts to walk down the stairs when she stops

"I am so sorry, I completely forgot! I would like to introduce my boyfriend my man of the court" My smile widens but quickly falls and my anger rises as Harry Hook walks out from above. "Harry!" She smiles up at him. I look to Mal and Evie and they're both in shock.

"It can't be, how? How did he get here" Evie mumbles

Melody and Harry walk down the stairs arms locked. She can't stop looking into his eyes.

Ariel and Eric are in complete shock. Ariel almost faints.

They walk up to me and the gang and I am enraged with anger.
"Harry! I'm gonna-" Mal stops me when Harry puts his hands up

"Matey, I know how this looks but we're in love. Right, Mellow?" That was the dumbest nickname ever. What the fuck really?

"Melody look at me, how can you love him? He hurt you so much!" Evie says She looks up at Harry as if you ask permission and he nods.

"E" she says and grabs her hands gently "I know what he did wasn't nice but I love him and I can't explain it but I'm over it I love him no matter how he hurt me in the past." The past? Seriously!

Harry smiles at her as if he is proud of her comment.

"Mel, what are you talking about the past was less then 24 hours ago! He doesn't love you!" Mal buts in "he somehow must have spelled you, it's all a lie"

He doesn't love her but I do! I look at Her. "Melody he can't love you, but I do!" I walk up to her and kiss her. Leaning down slightly. She pulls away and smiles at me with tears in her eyes

"Jay, you love me?" She smiles asking I nod and she jumps into my arms and kisses me back.

Mal's POV:
Jay broke whatever spell harry put her under. He must have found my spell book and cast the love spell. Or something.

Harry is fuming. He grabs Melody and puts his hook to her neck. I step forward "Harry please!"

He pushes the hook harder into her neck. "Come closer and you will lose your new Queen. Give me the wand and I'll set her free. Mel's eyes go wide clearly terrified.

"I will not, young man! I do not take orders from you" Fairy godmother says Harry chuckles he looks down at Melody's back.

"Awe my sweet Mellow, did we not like the gift I gave you? The beautiful mark that signs you as mine?" Melody shives at his touch. She looks at me and smirks. What is she up too?

All of the sudden She kicks Harry in the you know where and them flips him over her shoulder. He groans in pain as she puts her heel to his neck and takes his sword from him pointing it at him. "I am done being the damsel in distress. I have a kingdom to take care of and you will not get in my way of being their queen!" She yells down at him and everyone claps at her statement. "Now, you have two options. 1. We take you back to the isle or 2. You stay here in prison for trying to kill the queen." She raises an eyebrow at him. He just laughs and smirks.

"NOW!" He yells and then a huge wave of water is splashed up against the ship, rocking it and drenching us all. Within the waves were tentacles and Melody is grabbed one. We all run to the side of the ship. "No!!!" Jay screams and run towards the side of the ship. Ariel is rushed off to safety as Eric grabs a sword and joins us at the side of the ship.

"Uma" I mumble.

"That's my name don't ware it out" she winks. Uma starts throwing her tentacles around trying to hit people. After everyone dodges her swings she starts rocking the boat causing tables and chairs to slide around.

Melody is wrapped in one of her tentacles it goes over her mouth as well. She looks terrified.

Melody's POV:
Struggling to get out of Uma's grasp. I see my dad with a sword. I shake my head at him and he puts his sword away.

Uma's POV:
I have The little Queen in my grasp slowly getting tighter by the second. She squirms under my tentacle trying to free herself. Mm how it feels so good to feel the life rush from her body as she loses her strength. Harry marked her as his toy and now she is his forever.

"Ohh Harry" I sing and jumps off of the ship and onto another. That we stole. "It looks like the little Queen didn't get rid of her mark after all, it was just a cloaking spell." I laugh and turn her back to face him and everyone. He smirks while the rest gasp.

"Uma, stop I know you" Mal starts and I raise an eyebrow "you don't have to do this! You are not your mother, her enemies are not yours. We are not our parents. Be a part of the solution to bring others to their second chance at a new life like I know you can!" I laugh in Mal's face.

"Me ever being a part of the solution was gone long ago." I smirk

Melody's POV:

Uma looked to me and back to Mal with a sadistic smile on her face and laughed. Next thing I knew I was being dragged under water with Uma. The tight grip she had around me was enabling me to turn into my mermaid form. I couldn't breathe. I kept struggling against Uma but nothing worked. I could feel myself losing the strength to fight. I kept fighting but with each second I lose more and more strength. My eyes feel heavy and I lose strength in my arms.
