Amelia sits perched upon a terminal. She makes sure to stay hidden, peaking rarely over an air conditioning unit of some sort.
"Wow, it's so weird how you run into people at the airport. Don't you think that's weird?" Tony's voice enters her head through the com on her suit.
"Definitely weird."
"Hear me out, Tony. That doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this." Captain America argues.Amelia starts to tune out their conversation, despite it booming through the earpiece. She starts to wonder if this is really going to end well. When she peaks over the unit, she sees Natasha, and this new dude, some guy in a full black suit with cat ears. He seems cool, Amelia thinks.
Tony puts his hands up to his mouth, yelling, "Underoos!" He calls.
Spider-Man shoots a web flips in, shooting a web at Captain's shield and sealing it from him. Amelia flips in as well, cushioning her landing with a large soft grass patch while binding Steve's hands together with thick branches.
"Nice job, kids," Tony says.
Amelia's ears peak up when Spider-Man replies. "Thanks," He's surely beaming under his mask. "I mean, I could've stuck the landing a little better, its just, new suit. Wai- its something, Mr.Stark. It's perfect. Thank you."
"Yeah, we don't really need to start a conversation." Tony tries to shush the boy.
"Okay," Spider-Man looks around. "Cap, Captain... big fan... Spider-man," He gestures to himself.
"We'll talk about it later... Just..."
"Hey everyone."
"Good job."
Amelia has realized that Captain looks seemingly amused.
"You've been busy," Is Cap's response to the silliness.
"And you've been a complete idiot," Tony spits. Amelia nearly jumps at his sudden anger. Talk about a tone switch. "Dragging in Clint, 'rescuing' Wanda from a place she doesn't even want to leave-- a safe place. I'm trying to keep-" He lowers his voice, trying to seem calm. "I'm trying to keep you from tearing the Avengers apart."
"You did that when you signed." Captain's facial expression has yet to change, arms still bound by Amelia's web. A random bystander could pass him as a robot.
Well, they could.
Captain lets out a long sigh, and Tony tries again to stop him with words. "Alright, We're done. You're gonna turn Barnes over, you're gonna come with us. Now! Because it's us! Or a squad of J-SOC guys with no compunction about being impolite." Tony desperately looks to Cap, waiting for him to give in, but he looks aside. "Come on."
