Chapter 7 || The RESET

__Frisk's POV__

Me and Chara wound up in the forest of where we began after the flash of white after pressing the RESET button. I hope the twins remember us , or a sort of deja vu. If not, we can still be friends, I hope Chara's okay with that. Speaking of which, she was standing next to me. 

" What now Frisk?" 

" Let's take things on a different route, and I don't mean genocide, just like before , but let's avoid the Woodstick Festival that's due tomorrow. If we meet Mabel and Dipper." 

" Sure, I'll just go with the flow, but while we're taking things in a different way, I can just turn into my human form. So that Dipper doesn't freak out." 

I nod. " And I'll stay mute, but longer this time." 

After telling each other how we're going to handle this RESET , we went on our way to Gravity Falls once again.

The townsfolk didn't seem weirded out at our appearance, maybe since there are weird creatures about , they get used to the paranormal.

We went to the Mystery Shack. The gold I gave to Grunkle Stan was still there, so I could still pay for me and Chara.

Once we were inside, Chara boringly looked at the things that were glued together.

" Is this how the creatures in this town look like?" 

I shrug my shoulders as a response. " It's still creative tho." 

We continued along and at the end, we went to the gift shop. That seemed more interesting. With my gold I bought a shirt  with a question mark on it while Chara decided to take the same , but the colors were different. As snack we took some ice cream. We payed at the cashier and Grunkle Stan. We ran into the forest to change into our shirts. We went to the buttercup patch and hid in the bushes. Hopefully no one saw us. Chara was in a separate bush, since she's starting to develop and wears a bra, I wasn't developing yet since I was in my preteens.

Once we came out of the bushes, we complimented how nice the shirts fitted us, we didn't want to get attention so we put our sweaters over it.

I decide to make a nice flower crown for us both, to feel like home. 

Chara was smiling for once in this RESET.

~Timeskip~

It was nighttime already , and we figured that we should sleep in the patch again. 

" I want to sleep in here forever and never wake up." Chara says dreamily.

I agree with her. Our fingers interlock ( Not Charisk!) and we close our eyes. Chara seemed she was sleeping, but I was still awake. The moon, what beauty, it has been quite forever since I last saw it , I shouldn't get used to this , because when Gaster returns , we'll have to fight Asriel again. Well , just me , since Chara is stuck in him but she still helps.

Tomorrow is the Woodstick festival and I thought what we're going to do , should we go? i don't think Chara will accept this, since they sorta betrayed her. But she was fine walking in the Mystery shack, or  was she okay with it because the twins were busy?

If we went there, we would meet them again, it will be fine, cause we will just meet each other, and Mabel won't start shipping Chara and Dipper. It's fine right? And plus, we will get to enjoy the festival without problems, finally act normal.

" Wake up sleepyhead! We gotta go to the Woodstick festival!" Frisk shakes me impatiently.
