Chapter 10 || A date?

__Dipper's POV__

I woke up , late than the girls , I heard them chatting and Mabel screaming of joy at something. I wiped my eyes , and left the room. I went downstairs to join Mabel , Chara and Frisk chatting like girls.

" Toriel really thought Undyne was going to roast you?"Mabel asked.

"Yeah! Mom had no idea 'roasting' has a different meaning! Her face flipped hard!" Frisk laughed very hard at her own sentence.

Chara welcomed me at the table. "Hey Dipper, glad you were able to sleep after last night?" I nod at her question and yawn. I was given a plate of Stan-cakes by Grunkle Stan. 

"So you kids are staying here for awhile , aren't you?" He asked Frisk and Chara. "Yes." Chara said politely. Stan left to wear his tour clothes since it was almost time for the tour of the shack.

 Frisk didn't eat that much since many pieces of his hair was left on the plate. Chara's Stan-cake had holes in it, like a construction site. 

~Timeskip~

I was walking in the woods to find the buttercup patch Chara and Frisk love to go to. I wanted to got there since it was quite peaceful.  I then found it, with Chara sitting there, under the sunlight, which made her hair shine and the buttercups glow. She was making a flower crown by hand.

" What do you want?" She said in a neutral voice.

"I want to read my book here, since it's very peaceful."

"Fine, just don't be very noisy."

I thanked her and sat down next to Chara. I opened the journal, and started to read randomly within the pages. After awhile , Chara was at her 3rd crown. A bit bored by the silence, I decided to chat with her.

" Buttercups are sure very important to Undertale huh?"

"Yeah, it's sorta the national flower." The silence reigned again. I decided to look around , admiring the nature. I then felt a feeling on my head. I looked up and saw buttercups on my head. It was one of Chara's flower crowns.

"Thanks."

"No problem." 

"..."

"..."

"You know Chara , I think for a demon, you're very nice and caring. You seem to like what nature can offer, the Dreemurrs must've given you a ton of love , haven't they?" I just wanted to be nice to her, even though the name 'Dreemurr' might give her a lot of sad memories. When I expected the worse , Chara ended up blushing crazily. She quickly gave me a peck on the cheek, which sent me to blush-town easily. Now we were both blushing madly.

"Y-you wanna hang out later?" She said.

"As-as a date? Cause right now, I think we're-"

"Y-yeah, if you want..."

...

"When?"

"Like, later, when you're ready."

...

Couldn't hold it anymore, we were blushing like tomatoes, and we were about to explode.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT HAVE I DONE!???" Chara ran off with her flower crowns.

"YOU ASKED ME OUT ON A DATE! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!" I shouted as a response, we both ran off separate ways.

I ran off the forest, on the way to the forest, while Chara ran off deeper into it. I bumped onto Soos, who was cleaning the outside of the Shack.
