Chapter 12 - Whoops

Leo's POV
Leo sat on the counter and breathed in Calypso's beautiful smell of food that was in the kitchen and poured out filling their shop with a mouth watering aroma. Their shop had become quite popular and Leo had to give credit to Calypso, sure Leo was an amazing mechanic but not many people trusted fifteen year olds with their cars and other mechanical things but her food smelt that good that people just drifted in off the street and word got around. Leo hired a guy named Jerry to help out in the mechanic shop which was connected by a door on the side but today they finished early and Leo was just sitting watching the chefs whizz around but he was mainly watching Calypso she seemed to be lifting everyone's spirits and had an essence of light encased around her. Leo smiled wistfully when he heard a commotion in the front.
A woman yelped in surprise. "Hey calm down he's just resting!" Someone yelled in fact Leo recognised that voice. He could see a mop of blonde hair through the small gap in the wall where orders hung. "Sir you're going to have to leave." The cashier told the boy with blonde hair.
"Not so fast!" Leo skidded out and almost fell over himself. "Well I'll be damned." Will Solace stood holding a very pale looking Nico Di Angelo bridal style.
"Leo thank the Gods." People in the restaurant gave Will even stranger looks they probably thought he was crazy.
"Gods?" A mortal man asked confused.
"What I have my religion you have yours." Will sassed frowning at the man. The man blushed slightly before returning back to his food, Will had that effect on people.
"Come to the shop." Leo said opening the door that linked the mechanical shop to the restaurant.
Will lay Nico on a wooden table his black hair that was covering his eyes when Will was holding him had swept to the side revealing that he had them closed. "What happened to Nico?" Leo said in an anxious tone.
"Shadow travel." Was all Will said but it was enough for Leo to understand. Will then swiftly turned on the smaller boy he hit him on his chest hard enough for an 'ow' but not hard enough he was on the floor. "Ow!" Leo yelled in surprise "What was that for?"
"That was for making everyone think you were dead." Will hit him again.
"Ow! What was that one for?"
"That one was for being stupid and risking your life." Will hit him again and Leo was done with all the 'ows'
"What was that for?" Leo asked sounding slightly bored.
"Nothing really I just wanted to hit you." Will smirked, Leo rolled his eyes. He took in the whole appearance of Will, he'd changed since he had shown Leo around camp about a year and a few months ago. His blonde hair was longer, messier and shaggier if that was even possible but it was an electric blonde like the sun so bright it lit up the room not literally of cause but still. The boys blue eyes had become a deeper blue like rich oceans and they looked thoughtful. Will still looked the same with his body which was a skinny lanky surfer body maybe his jaw line was more defined but he was wearing a snug black t-shirt that Leo knew for a fact was Nico's. That's when Leo noticed Nico he looked paler than usual but if he'd shadow travelled that was expected yet he seemed to be more colourful and Leo wasn't referring to his new orange Camp Half-Blood t-
shirt he just seemed happy or at least as happy as a boy can be when he's in a deep sleep, Leo couldn't explain it Nico wasn't even awake yet he knew the boy had changed. Nico's dark black hair was trimmed slightly but he looked more muscly and stronger more powerful. Leo was stole from his thoughts at the sound of Will's voice. "Yo Leo?"
"What? Did you say something?" Leo said a little distracted.
"Ummm I said how did you end up in Colombia?"
"Well after I found Calypso, Festus needed some repairing so we flew around Europe collecting the things I needed then we settled for a little in England designing our own place." Leo gestured around the room. "Then we just needed a place to start building and well this place was perfect."
"You didn't come back to camp first?" Will asked sounding slightly awkward about it.
"Yeah about that... I just wanted me and Calypso to start our lives together as soon as possible."
"Hey I get it." Will said.
"I will visit camp again I promise." There was a moment of silence before Will hugged Leo.
"It's good to see you." Leo breathed in Will's scent which was like a summers day mixed with the beach.
"Am I interrupting something?" Nico rubbed his eyes and looked at the two boys, Will blushed madly pulling away and Leo just smiled like the crazy guy he was.
"Nico!" Leo went to tackle the guy in a hug when he remembered he didn't like physical contact the shout was enough.
"Leo!" Nico said grinning at the short brunette. Will grabbed Nico's wrist which surprised Leo at how the younger boy wasn't bothered by the contact of Will.
"Are you okay?" Will asked while counting Nico's pulse.
"I feel great." Nico said. "But I had a bad dream." Will still held Nico's wrist but made a face that said 'go on'. "Well we were standing on that mountain I had in my last dream and Apollo was still chained to the rock. But above me there was a storm brewing."
"A storm?" Leo asked he didn't see how a storm could be a big problem.
"Yeah but it was only swirling in part of the sky the rest looked clear." Nico continued Will still had his wrist which seemed unnecessary now but Nico didn't seem to mind.
"Huh, that's weird."
"Then I transported to some sort of wooded area where the Hunters were camping. Ummm, Piper was there."
"What?" Leo and Will yelled together. Nico covered his ears by doing so Will lost his grip on his wrist.
"Sorry Neaks." Will said lowering the boys hands.
"What is Piper doing with the Hunters?" Leo asked maybe her and Jason had broken up.
"I don't know I woke up before anything really happened."
"We need to IM her fast." Leo dug his palm into his pockets but they were empty and he couldn't use his magic tool belt to summon drachmas it didn't do things like money. He raced around the shop until he found one down the back of the sofa in his office.
While Leo had been doing that Will and Nico had built a rainbow by spraying a hose and putting a torch onto the water since the sun had disappeared outside. "Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering." Leo chanted then he tossed the golden drachma into the rainbow then Leo proceeded. "Show me Piper McLean ummm I don't know where she is." Apparently Piper was enough because before Leo the mist collected and formed Piper who was sitting on a log by a fire. "Piper!" Leo yelled.
"Leo, Gods! I haven't seen you for over a year." She was frowning obviously angry.
"I'm sorry Pipes I'll visit soon okay?"
"Okay... So what's up?"
"Well Will and Nico are here."
"Sup?" Will said peering round from holding the torch.
"Will concentrate!" Nico scolded.
"Wait Will have you seen Jason?" Will frowned.
"Ummm no just me and Nico on our quest why?"
"He's missing me and Thalia and the rest of the Hunters are trying to track him."
"That's why Nico saw you with the Hunters." Leo said realising.
"Nico saw me?"
"He had a dream, look where are you?"
"We're in Texas the Hunters can move fast but we're heading-" The mist dispersed so that there was just a water screen in front of Leo.
"Whoops." Will said nudging the broken torch glass with his shoes.
"Will you're such an idiot." Nico said rolling his eyes.
"It's okay we found out Jason is missing and Piper's tracking him we just don't know where she's heading."
"Speaking of heading places." Nico walked so he stood next to Will. "We really should get going." Nico told Leo.
"Okay," Leo grinned at his friends. "at least come get some food."
"I thought you'd never ask," Will said rubbing his stomach "I'm starving."
