Chapter 13 - Solangelo?

Will's POV
Will led Nico out of Leo and Calypso's restaurant, he was stuffed and the food was great but time was getting on and the sun had been set for a few hours now. Nico swept his hair aside and that's when Will noticed the grey streak that now lay on one of his old black curls. "Hey Grandpa." Will smirked still walking down the path.
"Why did you call me Grandpa?" Nico asked his eyebrows knitting together.
"Because of your grey hair." Will said pointing at the grey locks. Nico freaked out. He felt his head then realised he couldn't feel colour then he practically ran to find a mirror but he settled for a shop window. "Oh my gods! Will!"
"What?" Will asked innocently.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Hey I think it's cute." Nico blushed furiously which made Will smile he liked it when he made Nico nervous it was fun.
"It's off holding the sky, Percy and Annabeth got the same thing when they did it."
"Yeah, now if you're done freaking out," Will smirked at the black haired boy "we need to be going in that direction." Will pointed towards a mountain range.
"How do you know?" Nico asked walking so he was beside his friend. Will shrugged.
"I can sense the sun." Will looked at all the mountains and groaned maybe it would be easier to go around but Nico said it was a mountain on the border of Ecuador and Colombia right where the equator line was which meant it was one of those mountains. Will began to climb and Nico followed closely behind.
After trekking the mountains for about an hour and a half Will started to get chilly. "We'll build a fire and rest being this high up means it's colder." Nico said though he didn't look bothered by the cold at all, Will nodded and sat down on a nearby rock. Nico came back with a few sticks and tinder he then lit the fire with a lighter. "So what's it like being a son of the big three?" Nico looked up at Will.
"Oh," he said thinking about it. "I don't know I don't feel any different to you."
"Really?" Will found that hard to believe since he felt utterly useless now that he thought about it Nico felt that way too. Nico nudged closer to Will giving him an innocent look. The firelight complimented Nico well his dark raven black hair reflected the flames and his dark brown eyes shone in the light. Will leant against Nico and the boy tensed for a moment then relaxed Nico had obviously grown used to Will's touch besides Will was the son of the sun god which meant he was really warm but he didn't feel warm, he didn't do well in cold weather. Nico's head tilted so it rested on the blonde haired boys shoulder Will thought that it looked like they were on a date then he blushed furiously at the thought luckily it was dark enough that Nico didn't seem to notice. "Hey," Will said softly, "lets play a game."
"What kind of game?" Nico asked.
"How about the compliment game? You say three things you like about me or love," Will smirked but he suspected that Nico couldn't see since he was resting on his shoulder, "and I do the same back." Nico pondered for a moment.
"You go first."
"Okay, I love your smile."
"Really?" Nico asked generally surprised.
"Yeah it's awesome, okay you go."
"Ummm," Nico said awkwardly "I love your hair."
"I love your crazy hair."
"I love your sense of humour." Nico said.
"I love how stubborn you are."
"I'm not stubborn!" Nico protested.
"You totally are."
"No I'm not!"
"You're literally being stubborn right now."
"I love your idiocy." Nico said crossing his arms and Will smiled, sure yeah maybe Nico was making fun of him but Nico loved things about Will which meant he thought about him, right? There was a small silence before Will whispered "I love you."
"What?" Nico asked because Will had whispered so quietly that Nico hadn't heard. Will lost his nerve so he sided for a less awkward thing besides Nico would probably punch him.
"I love spending time with you."
"I love spending time with you too." Nico said snuggling closer to Will maybe he was cold but Will didn't think so.
The two demigods took in the view and Will let out a hefty sigh. Then from the sky erupted a massive lightning bolt enough to split rock, it came crashing down and illuminated the sky since it was a clear dark sky. Will could feel the heat from where he sat. Immediately the demigod duo jumped up and looked at each other. "Zeus?" Will asked since the lightning bolt was so huge.
"Or something else." They sped off towards the mountain of which the lightning bolt had erupted on.

Okay I know that this chapter is really short but things are about to get real
I dunno if you guys have guessed the "villain" but he has been in the books once before that's a huge clue.
So yeah Will and Nico's relationship is coming along nicely I totally ship Solangelo like seriously...
