Chapter 22 - Its never over

Will's POV
"Wake up Will." Will heard Nico whisper, Will could feel Nico's body pressed against his own in a tight cuddle. "I see you smiling smart ass." Nico hit Will lightly on the chest.
"I don't wanna." Will complained burrowing his head into Nico's cool chest.
"I could stay for five more minutes." Nico sighed. Will's eyes snapped open.
"You're my husband." Will said excitingly and Nico chuckled.
"And you're my husband." Will snuggled even closer to Nico if that was even possible. "Seriously Will we need to get up."
"Why?" Will complained.
"Have you not looked around the room?" Nico was propped against the headboard and Will had his arms wrapped tightly around Nico's waist and his head rested on his chest.
"Noo..." Will trailed off, he sneaked a look around the room and he had to admit it was a disaster zone. "Maybe we should go turn the do not disturb sign so the maid can come clean this up." Will said and Nico unwrapped himself from Will.
"Go get in the shower I'll tidy the room a bit so the maid doesn't have a heart attack." Nico ordered and Will climbed out of bed wrapping Nico in another embrace and kissed him on the forehead before turning towards the bathroom. The room was a wreak clothes had been thrown in odd places knocking things off the side the bed was covered in... stuff but Will had no doubt Nico could clean it. Will slipped in the shower and began to wash his body. Will absorbed the hot water when he heard the bathroom door open he immediately tensed wondering if the maid had accidentally walked in on him but not that it mattered since the shower curtain was drawn. But then the shower curtain started to draw back and Will momentarily panicked before he turned around and saw Nico standing there. Will smirked at him and pulled him under the heat of the water. "How hot do you have your shower?" Nico asked his hair sticking to his forehead where it had been wetted.
"Well it's hotter than me so I guess really hot." Will teased burrowing his head in the crook of Nico's neck and kissing him lightly on the neck.
"You are pretty hot." Nico said laughing lightly and tilting his head back in pleasure then he let out a gasp and Will smirked at the round hickey he had given Nico. "Will!" Nico scolded.
"What?" Will asked innocently.
"You're an idiot." Nico grumbled.
"I love you too." Will kissed Nico for real this time right on the lips.
They finished up getting showered and got ready to leave. The hotel room was in pretty good condition from what it had started out as, the bed had been stripped, Nico had packed away their suits and other clothing and he'd picked up things that had fallen on the floor. Will looked over at Nico who was getting dressed and noticed he limped slightly when he walked. Will snuck up behind Nico and wrapped his arms around his waist. "What are you doing?" Nico giggled.
"I'm healing you." Will was about to mutter his healing words when Nico's expression and words stopped him.
"Stop." Nico said seriously.
"Why?" Will asked curious.
"Because it's like a souvenir of our night together." Nico whispered and Will smiled.
"Okay but please put a shirt on that body is just for me." Will teased letting go of Nico's torso and rubbing his hands down it. Nico turned around biting his lip and hooked his fingers through Will's jean belt hoops.
"And you're all mine." Nico said seductively. Will was about to pull Nico in for another kiss when his phone started to ring.
"Urrgh." Will complained picking his phone up, Leo had invented phones that didn't attract monsters."Hello?" Will asked picking up.
"Hey I didn't wake you did I?" It was Annabeth.
"No."
"Okay so your new house is all ready for you I left the keys in a plant next to the front door."
"Thank you very much." Will said "See you later?"
"Uh huh." Annabeth said sounding distracted so Will ended the call.
"Let's go." Will grabbed his bag off the side that contained his dirty clothes and he grabbed Nico's too trying to be the kind husband he was. Nico raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "The house is ready." Will said simply and Nico's eyes lit up with joy.
The two stumbled out into the hall when Will's stomach began to rumble, he could really go for some pancakes right about now. Nico began to walk towards the elevator beckoning Will to follow and of cause he obliged pressing the lobby button. As the elevator started to descend Will studied his ring that was a smooth gold band, how could something so simple make Will feel so happy? The ding of the doors opening startled Will from his thoughts. They made their way across the surprisingly busy lobby, what time was it? "Hello sir how may I help you?" The woman at reception asked she was different to the one the other night maybe she was on day shift and the other was on night.
"I would like to check out please." Will said giving a complementary smile.
"Okay, name please?"
"William Solace." The name sounds so foreign but it's what it says on his credit card so he uses it for moments like these. Will feels Nico lean over to whisper in his ear.
"It's so sexy when you use your full name." Nico growls seductively and Will gulps trying to not let show how turned on he is.
"We have you right here... the honeymoon suite?" The woman asks taping away on her keyboard.
"Yes that's us."
"Okay sir that'll be $500." Okay so the place was grand and expensive but it was their honeymoon and Will had wanted it to be special and it had been.
"Can I pay with my credit card?" Will asks holding the slim piece of plastic between his fingers.
"Of cause sir just one moment." Will didn't bother to correct her that his title was actually Dr and not sir. The woman slides the weird payment thing in front of Will which he never really understood how it worked but he inserted the card in the top and followed the on screen instructions, he entered his pin, waited and then pulled the card back out and slipped it into his wallet then his back pocket. "Thank you for staying." Will hadn't noticed that Nico had pulled a hundred dollar bill from his own wallet.
"Here's a tip we had a wonderful stay." Nico gave the woman a generous smile the tip seemed a little big about a twenty percent tip (A/N I have no idea if that math is right, I suck at math) but Nico was like that.
The two left the hotel and started walking down the street, Will was still carrying their suitcases but he was seriously hungry. "Nico?" Nico turned and looked almost embarrassed.
"I'm sorry I should take my own bag." He tried to take the suitcase from Will but he held tightly.
"It's not that, pffft this is nothing," Will said rolling his eyes. "I'm hungry!" Will complained sounding slightly like a child would.
"Rosie's?" Nico asked a sly smile on his face.
"Rosie's." Will confirmed following Nico towards the small diner they'd discovered. A while ago Nico and Will were out and since their both boys they were hungry but they didn't want to go to a proper restaurant when they came across a small diner. The sign outside looked slightly dim, it had a few customers and it didn't look special but the smell drifting outside and around the diner told a different story. The boys went in and Will remembered ordering pancakes since he'd become obsessed with them, he couldn't explain it, and Nico had ordered fries and a milkshake and the food was extremely good. Not only was the food good but Rosie, the owner, was the sweetest person alive she was in her fifties but she would talk to Nico and Will like they were her sons and it was just a happy place it was actually where Will proposed to Nico.
The bell to the front of the diner door rang as Nico pushed it open and held it for Will. Will placed the suitcases on top of one another on the seat beside him but pushed them to the wall of the booth since Will liked to have a quick escape in case of monster attacks and Nico sat across from Will. "Boys!" Rosie's voice shouted over the 60's music playing. "There you two are I haven't seen you for a while." Nico smiled at her and held his hand up to show his ring. "Oh my! Isn't that the shiniest ring I have ever seen?" Will chuckled but held his hand up too. "You two are perfect together, look at you!" Rosie proceeds to pinch their cheeks.
"Thanks Rosie so how's the diner?" Nico asked one of his cheeks bright red than the other pale one.
"It's fine! So the usual?" She asks.
"For me," Will says remembering the pancakes. "Nico?"
"I'll have the French toast if you don't mind." Nico says.
"Of cause I don't mind! It'll be right out." Rosie winks and walks towards the kitchen. Nico grabbed Will's hand across the table and smiled content. Nico and Will were just talking when a white trash looking person passed by and noticed their interlocked hands. "Faggots." The man muttered as he passed by and Will immediately clenched his jaw and fist which wasn't holding Nico's hand. Will felt Nico squeeze his hand in a reassuring way to say let it go but honestly how stupid is that? We can't live in a society where people are accepting of everyone? It shouldn't matter about your looks, your body, your skin or even your sexuality we're all freaking human and some people- urrgh! "It's okay Will." It's not like everyone is like that, there's people like Rosie who are loving and accepting and Will is glad for those people they've done nothing wrong but why do some people abuse other people because of what they are, its stupid. "Will?" Nico leans across the table and plants a kiss on his lips to wake him out of his trance.
"Huh?" Will says shaking his head.
"You got lost in your thoughts."
"I did?" Will asked smiling. Nico began to run his finger in circular motions on the palm of Will's hand and Will shivered from the pleasure it sent through him.
"Tell me what you're thinking." Nico asked his head tilted to concentrate on Will's hand.
"I'm thinking I am the most luckiest guy in the world. You said that Zeus split up people because they were too powerful and that the other half searched for their other half their whole lives, granted you said one was female and one was male but that's bullshit-"
"Language." Nico scolded still not looking up.
"Because you are my soulmate Nico and I'm pretty sure you're not female. Maybe that story was true a long time ago but those people would have reproduced and to be honest I'm sure I wasn't born with two heads, four arms and four legs so the original soulmates passed down their beliefs that there was one perfect person for everyone that's also kind of bull but with that being said... How do I describe what I feel for you other than saying you are my soulmate because honestly I have no idea what I would do without you, you are literally apart of me." Will put his finger under Nico's chin and lifted his head to look at him. "I love you Nico."
"And I love you." Will smiled before closing the space kissing Nico softly leaving his lips tingling and just by magic their food appears and it makes the moment even better because Will was starving.
"See you soon Rosie!" Will calls behind him as they leave the diner.
"Come back whenever boys!" Rosie yells back.
They make their way into the streets and call a taxi, Will places the bags in the trunk while Nico gives the directions to the house. "Are you excited?" Nico asks. It's more than excited Will felt ecstatic he couldn't wait and he was going to carry Nico over the threshold since Nico didn't know where the keys were.
"I'm more than excited, what about you Sunshine?" Nico glared slightly at the nickname despite Will's persistent use of it Nico obviously still didn't like to be called Sunshine or maybe he does but tries to keep up a manly image that the word Sunshine betrays.
"First of all I am the night," Will opens his mouth to protest but Nico holds his hand up to silence him. "secondly I can't wait to finally have a house with you." Nico smirks and Will returns the smirk.
"Alright Sunshine."
"I hate you."
"I love you too." Will smiled at Nico and Nico sticks his tongue out. Will takes Nico's hand and rests it on the middle seat of the cab in between them.
When they finally reached the house Will unloaded the suitcases and brought them to the front door and while Nico was paying the cabbie Will slipped the two keys in his pocket, one being Nico's and the other a spare, and held his own key in his hand. "Alright cabbie has been payed, why haven't you gone in." Nico asked suspiciously.
"I was waiting for you." There was an edge to Will's voice that made Nico frown in confusion. In one swift movement Will picked Nico up bridal style, Nico kicked and yelled but Will held tightly unlocking the door and kicking it open gently. Nico stopped protesting and wrapped his arms around Will's neck and turned his head towards the house. Will stepped over the threshold tightly gripping Nico and was greeted with a large set of stairs which were a beautiful polished wood, Will walked past the hallway next to the steps and went through the open double door frame that had no doors on it just opened out into a huge living room. Will threw Nico on the couch and jumped on top of him. "I haven't seen the whole house yet but I'm pretty sure it's perfect." Nico muttered grabbing Will's shirt.
"I'm sure it is." Will whispered coming harshly down on Nico's lips. Will started to feel a slight increase in the tightness of his pants but ignored it continuing to kiss Nico. Nico pulled away and smirked.
"Naughty Will." Will made a sort of low growl in his throat. "I think you better stop or we won't bring the bags in."
"I don't care." Will muttered letting his hand sneak up Nico's shirt and kissed his neck sloppily.
"Will." Nico moaned. "Will!" Nico said sternly pushing him up. "I-I mean it lets get settled."
"Urrgh, you're right, fine but this isn't over." Will complained pushing himself off of Nico.
"It's never over." Nico teased before standing up with him.
