Chpater 23 - I love you

Will's POV
Will opened the door and stepped in throwing his tie and the Dr ID badge that he wore at work on the side. "Honey I'm home!" Will yelled joking. Will could see how similar his life was to the fountain he had looked into that had made him blind. Will stepped into the living room frowning that he hadn't heard a response from Nico or Isabelle. He examined his surroundings the TV was turned off and all the lights were off. "Nico?" Will called out. "Isabelle?" Will wondered into the kitchen and there was still no sign of them but there was a note on the kitchen bench. Will read the note aloud. "Dear Will, welcome home my wonderful husband. By now you're probably wondering where me, your incredibly handsome other half, and your beautiful daughter are. Well we decided to play a game called Hide N' Seek so come find us if you can." Will placed the note back down a smile playing on his lips. "Ready or not here I come!" Will yelled and ran up the stairs guessing that's where they would most likely be hidden. Will opened the door to his daughters room and started to search when he heard giggling coming from her closet. "Hmmm where could Isabelle be?" Will questioned aloud earning more giggles from the closet. "Well I guess she isn't in here." Will sighed and pretended to walk out. Slowly Will saw the closet door creak open and Isabelle stuck her head out to peek around the room Will quickly grabbed her gently and pulled her out she squealed in alarm then started to laugh uncontrollably as he tickled her. Once Will stopped he put his finger up to his lips in a shushing gesture and Isabelle giggled then covered her mouth she was the cutest five year old you could get. Will whispered quietly "Are you going to help me find daddy?" She nodded slowly and Will picked her up off the floor and rested her on his hip. "Okay so where is daddy hiding?" Will whispered. Isabelle brung her lips to Will's ear and whispered "In there." She pointed to Will's and Nico's bedroom.
"Okay let's go find daddy." Will opened the door slowly and placed Isabelle on the floor. She tip toed to the other side of the room and faced the double bed in the middle of the room, in the centre of the bed looked like a lump almost in the shape of a human under the covers. Will lifted his hand and counted down from three when he had no fingers left Will and Isabelle leaped onto the bed landing on something too soft to be a person. Will pulled a corner of the quilt up which revealed pillows. "Rats." Will cursed he had to be careful with his words around Isabelle because she liked to repeat them. Isabelle giggled "Wahts." She tried to say rats but her cute five year old voice made it sound a little different.
"Rrrrats." Will emphasised the r to help Isabelle pronounce it.
"Rats?" She asked and Will clapped which caused her to giggle more.
Isabelle rolled off the bed and gasped. "Are you okay?" Will asked in concern for his daughter she didn't fall off the bed so Will didn't see how she could of hurt herself. Isabelle popped up with a huge grin on her face and Will knew instantly that Nico was hiding under the bed, such a childish move Will should of guessed.
Will leaped off the bed and dropped to the floor to see Nico flat on the floor under the bed. "I found my sunshine." Will says smirking, Nico snaps his head up and frowns in disbelief.
"No fair you cheated." He accuses.
"Nuh uh, I just had a little helper."
"Daddy!" Isabelle cried lying down next to Will peering under the bed. Nico pulled himself out from under the bed and dusted himself down. He glared at Will before he was tackled with a hug from Isabelle. Will smiled as Nico lifted Isabelle onto his hip and she hugged him closely. Will leant in to kiss Nico but Nico put his hand firmly on his chest looking very unamused. Will laughed before running off downstairs to order the food.
After Will and Nico had put Isabelle to bed after eating they sat on the couch the TV playing but Will wasn't paying attention he was watching Nico watch the TV which may seem weird but he didn't really care. "I can see you." Nico said not taking his eyes off the TV.
"I can see you too." Will teased earning a slight grin from Nico. "Can't I have my kiss?" Will pouted because that always worked with Nico he pulled himself up across the couch and rested on Nico's chest.
"I hate you." Nico said but pulled Will in for a passionate kiss, Will smiled into the kiss wrapping his husband in his arms. He felt whole with Nico and he couldn't imagine his life without him. Will remembered the quest they'd gone on and all the challenges they had faced but Will realised with Nico by his side he could do anything. He remembered the year they'd spent at camp before the quest becoming friends even though Will had felt the attraction. He remembered their secret garden and Will taking Nico's hand on top of Half-Blood hill and cuddling him for the first time on top of the mountain. He remembered the loneliness and missing him when he was stranded on Calypso's island and then he remembered their first kiss which was the most amazing moment of his life. Will broke the kiss and smiled deeply staring into his husbands eyes. "I love you." Will whispered. Nico smiled wide his smile and laugh lines crinkling in places.
"I love you too." Nico whispered back before kissing Will once again. Will could honestly say that he couldn't be happier with his family and he was pretty sure Nico felt the same.

It's sad when you finish a book but don't fear I'm going to write another Solangelo fanfiction soon.
Sorry it took so long to update but I've had writers block.
