Sleepover

I grab my favourite pink Kanken backpack and decide what to pack. I pull on my white skinny jeans, white tank top and pink cropped hoodie. I pack my hair stuff for dance, a black Kaeli Ware leotard, convertible pink tights, deodorant, perfume, toothbrush, facial stuff etc, my cute elephant pjs and for tomorrow to go over my leotard- grey adidas joggers, black prettylittlething cropped tee and a grey Ivy Parks hoodie. I do my hair in two Dutch braids and slip my black Converse high tops on my feet. I check my phone. I've been added to a group called "Bezzies❤️❤️" with Kalani, Kendall and Maddie.

Kendall K: cant wait til tonite! 😘❤️

Mads: we're gonna have so much fun!

Lani:will ur mom drop us at dance?

Kendall K: yup!

Summer Lou: im so excited for my first aldc sleepover!! ❤️

Kendall K: BTW, bring a swimming costume- we can go in my pool

After recieving Kendall's text I throw a white halter bikini. Perfect I think. I run downstairs, my bag on my back.
"Mom, I'm ready to go!" I call to her.
"OK!" I hear her reply. Soon enough I hear her footsteps on the stairs. She appears downstairs and we get into the car. We drive over to Jill's house and I say bye to her. I ring their doorbell and Jill answers the door.
"Hi! So you're Summer-Louise, right?" Jill greets me. I nod. "They're in Kendall's room upstairs.".
I take off my shoes and hurry upstairs. Jill seems nice but her wardrobe choices are excessive. When I get upstairs, it isn't hard to find Kendall's room as there is a pink sign on the door saying "KK's room". It's super cute! I open the door and I see Kendall and Maddie sat on the airbeds blown up on the floor, chatting.
"Hi!" We all say at the same time causing us to giggle.
"No Kalani yet?" I say dropping my bag on the floor. Maddie shakes her head as I sit on the bed beside Kendall, causing her to rise up slightly, making us laugh again. We chat for a bit until Lani appears.
"So what should we do?" Kendall asks.
"How about the ABC dance challenge?" I suggest. They all seem to like that idea. Kendall and me quickly scribble out the letters of the alphabet while Maddie and Kalani go ask Jill for a bowl. Maddie and Kalani come back from their bowl hunt and me and Kendall pour in the paper scraps. 

"I'll go first!" Kendall offers. She closes her eyes and pulls out a letter, "K!"

"Perfect for you!" Maddie laughs. We start counting down from ten and we get to 6 when Kendall exclaims "Kick!". We allow that one and Kendall punches the air. Maddie is next.

"G!" Maddie exclaims happily. We haven't started counting and she does a perfectly placed glissade. Next me. I reach my hand into the bowl.

"I got J!" I announce. It takes until 4 seconds left until I do a jete, "Kalani, you're up!" 

"E?" Kalani looks confused. "10,9,8" She is thinking hard. "7,6,5" Her face screws up, she doesn't want to lose. "4, 3, 2".......

"I've got it! Echappe sauté!" Kalani says doing yet another ballet move. The turn goes back to Kendall. She gets P and does press handstand. Maddie gets U and is out, I get L and do a leg hold turn. Kalani gets Y and does a Y pose (it's gymnastics but who cares!). Then, it's Kendall's go again. She get's A and does arabesque. I get O and do over split and Kalani gets Z so she is out. Only two left. She gets H and does handstand. I get D and do a demi plie. She gets I and does an Illusion. I get Z. Just my luck. I congratulate Kendall though. We then chat for a bit.  

"How are you finding your solo, Summer?" Kalani asks. I smile.

"Oh, I really like it! Abby is a great choreographer!" I say, happily.

"Oh, isn't Gianna the one who choreographs it?" Maddie replies, a quizzical look on her face.

It was definitely Abby. Gia wasn't even in the room!" I confirm, looking at Maddie.

"Oh, she must think you have potential then!" Kendall announced. Maddie frowned slightly, "She barely ever choreographs solos- much less your first! Plus, nobody else's solos today were choreographed by her.". I blush slightly. 

"Anyway, how's the duet Maddie?" I quickly change the subject. We chat longer until Kalani suggests going in the pool. We all agree and get changed. I wear my white halter.

"We match!" I notice. We all laugh. We take cute photos but can't post them because of Abby's rule about me. We head out to the pool and have a bomb competition. Then we play on Kendall's floaties. After half an hour, Jill comes out with a tray of lemonades with cherries and paper umbrellas in them like a poolside cocktail waitress which makes us all laugh. Kendall has really cool pizza drinks holder inflatable so our drinks can float around with us. We stayed out an hour longer however it soon started to get dark so we dried off and showered then changed into out pjs. We then return to Kendall's room and decide to play truth or dare. 
"Maddie! Truth or Dare?" Kalani smiles.
"Ughh! Truth!" Maddie groans. Kalani's grin widens.
"Who would you date out of everyone at ALDC LA?" She says.
"Dang it! Ummm, probably Jackson!" She mumbles.
"Who?" We say
"Jackson Smith! He does Hip-Hop with us!" Maddie says louder. We all giggle.
"I ship it!" Kendall yells. We all shush her.
"Anyway, new girl! Truth or dare!" Maddie continues. I grin at the nickname and pick dare- I don't want to tell them about still liking my ex! 
"Go into Ryleigh's room and yell CHICKEN then run out!". I groan but obligingly leave the room. I find the door labelled "RYLEIGH" and knock.
"Come in!" I hear and step into the room. The desk chair spins around but I yell "CHICKEN" and sprint out before I see the dark haired girl's face. I get back and all the girls are laughing. 
"KFC is shooketh!" Maddie giggles sending us into peals of more laughter. We play longer and just after we find out Kendall once got in detention for kissing a boy in the janitors closet in 4th grade, Jill comes in and says we need to sleep because we have dance tomorrow. We get into our beds, turn off the lights and I fall asleep almost instantly. So far, so good for Summer-Louise at the ALDC!
