"Dad!" You screamed from the top of the stairs, you hear his giggle as he appeared at the bottom of the stairs with Pepper. Even she had to stifle a laugh as she saw you soaking wet, and covered in flour.

"Tone? What did you do?" She asked trying to hide her giggle. Tony just laughed leaning against the wall for support.

"That's for painting my suits pink!" He called up to you.

"I'm gonna get you Dad! I swear." You groaned as you moved your wet, flour covered hair up with one hand.

"Yeah, well make sure you pack too. We're leaving in an hour." You frowned.

"Where too?" You asked, you'd thought you were having the summer off. You, your Dad and Pepper.

"Avengers tower, the need us back. The winter solider attacked Nat ans Steve." Tony said before walking away still laughing at his prank. Rolling your eyes you went back into your room, and took a shower. Leaving your hair to dry naturally you packed your suit into your bag, and a few other clothes and met Tony at the door.

Pepper engulfed you in a hug. "Be careful darling." She said kissing your head.

"I will Pep. Dont worry, I'm with Dad." She nodded, a smile on her face. She kissed Tony, whispering something into his ear. He smirked and put his hand on your shoulder.

"Come on Princess, we gotta get going." You nodded, waving once more to Pepper you climbed onto the jet with Tony. Once he'd put in the directions you sat back with him in the seats.

"Hey Dad..." you said in your 'I really want something' voice.

"Oh no." He said with a smirk, as he hid his head in his hands. He knew he'd give into you sooner or later.

"Well you know I'm turning twenty in a few weeks..." he grunted in response. "You know what I really want?" He looked through his fingers at you skeptically.

"What?" He said slowly.

"A puppy!"

"No!" Tony said jumping up. You groaned. "When I adopt something yappy and annoying it will be Peter." You smirked at that.

"But dad please..." you begged.

"I said no Y/N. And besides how old are you? Dont you want a car or something?"

"No point! I can just use yours." He rolled his eyes but was laughing. "Well...what are you gonna get me!" He tapped his nose.

"I've already got it. But you'll have to wait to see." You groaned but let it slide.

You landed at the tower, and was shook awake by your Dad. "Come on up you get sleepy head." You jumped up grapping your bag. You ran out of the jet onto the grass. Nat was waiting for you by the doors. You dropped your bag and ran to her flinging your arms around her neck. She caught you with a smile, squeezing you back.

Tony had picked up your bag, he gave Nat a quick hug. "Thanks for coming on such short notice." Tony grimaced. He'd wanted the break away as much as you. You walked back inside, the familiar smell, and look of the corridors making you smile uncontrollably.

Steve was sat slumped at a table in the kitchen. "He's taken the news rather hard." Nat said as you walked closer.

"What news?" You asked confused.

"Tony didnt tell you? The winter solider is Bucky Barnes. His old best friend." The world seemed to tune out of reality. The bag dropped from your hand crashing to the floor. Tony snapped his head towards you, groaning as he did.

Your hand was at your mouth, your eyes moving rapidly around the room. Tony rushed to your side taking your shaking hands in his. "Its going to be okay. I promise. I've got this." He muttered. You nodded not trusting your voice. Panic was still bubbling in your chest. Nat frowned at you both.

"What's going on?" She asked concerned.

"Shes been having some PTSD dreams recently. They randomly catch up on her." Tony said quickly. Nats face softened, it happened to them all. You took a deep breath forcing down the panic. Breathe.

You walked forward and poured a glass of water, your hands shaking as you brought it to your lips. You could feel everything. Fear and sadness coming from Steve, as well as a trace of anger. Nat was mostly calm, with some sympathy and worry. Tony was stressed, and panicked. You groaned under the weight of everyone else's emotions.

Steve's were by far the strongest. You out the glass down and sat opposite him. "What me to release some of that for you?" You asked, begging your voice to be strong. Luckily it was. He looked up, his crystal blue eyes glassy with pain. He nodded. You took his hands, and focused.

You slipped into his head. Memories overwhelmed you, him and Bucky as kids. Your breathing became ragged, fear creeping in again. You pushed it away and focused on the now, forcing the past back. You slowly thought of your own happy memories. Slowly you saw the balance in Steve's head change, your happiness wearing off onto him slowly.

But his past memories kept coming harder, you knew to relieve him you'd have to look through them, bring out the goodness in them. But the idea of it made you feel sick. With a deep breath you let them through. Seeing then dancing, at the amry. Bucky falling, the fight that occured recently. It all mashed into one, as you sorted through the emotions expertly.

You pulled away, Steve looked at you thankful for the slight peace in his mind. He managed a smile. You however felt sick to the core. "Dad can we talk." You said jumping up and running from the room. With a sigh and an apology to the others, he followed you.

His room had been the closest, you threw up the toilet. Sobbing as you heaved. Tony sat on the floor with you as you finshed leaning against the bath. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought you here. I didnt know until after you fell asleep." He said softly.

You said nothing. "Did...did you have to go through Steve's..." you nodded.

"I saw them Dad. I cant have him back in my life. I cant. I'm scared, everything was just starting to work out." You sobbed. "And besides he'd never forgive me for what I did."

"It no wonder what you did after what he did to you!" Tony said taking your hand. "Your the victim here Princess. I promise one wrong move and I'll have him crucified and burried in the sea." You managed a weak smile as you crawled onto Tony's lap. He hugged you humming a song he'd sang to you when you were little.
