You sat on Nat's bed. You were leaving in an hour. "Do you ever get nervous?" You asked her as she brushed her hair into a braid.

"All the time." She replied. "The trick is not to show it." She said her fingers working quickly to plat her thick hair. "When you've come from somewhere like the red room, you learn not to show anything. A mask if you like." You nodded. You were twisting the engagement ring around your finger.

She turned to look at you. "I'm sensing the fight isnt what your nervous about?" You shook your head.

"Demons, aliens, people. Their all the same to me. I know we can take them, its just I'm worried about seeing Steve again after so long. What If hes changed? I know I have." Nat hugged you tightly.

"Y/N, he loves you. He always will. And you love him, no matter how long your apart or what happens in that time, you two are made for each other." You smiled thankfully at her.

"Thanks Nat." She pulled you to your feet. "Ready?" You asked. She nodded. "Let's go get the others."

As soon as your feet hit the ground you were running. Nat beside you, Pietro miles in front. He came back. "I found the building Thor said they'd be in." He said taking your hand, and Nats. "Deep breath." You felt like you were flying, your feet barely keeping up as you tried hard not to put them down at all.

He came to a halt, you panted for a moment, feeling very travel sick. Nat looked pale too. After a second you straightened up and crept to the window nearest you. You heard an explosion. People started rushing past. You ducked your heart pounding madly.

"Okay let's go." Nat said jumping in through the broken glass. You followed. The room was dusty, three thrones were the only furniture in it. Loki appeared in front of you. You jumped swearing. He laughed.

"Sorry, but I've been talking to the main man around here."

"What the God of the underworld?" The projection nodded.

"Having a reputation of being a bit of a villain has some advantages. I left earlier than you as you know. Your friends are in the bottom level of the building down those stairs to your left. There should only be the general guards. I have to go." He disappeared before you could thank him.

Jerking your head to Nat, you headed towards the stairs. It was well lit, surprisingly. You started your decent. Your mind searched for theirs. "I'm sensing four." You said cocking your gun. Nat did the same. Pietro stayed back like he'd agreed to. He couldn't get hurt as you needed him to get the others to safety.

The first demon came into sight, it was ugly, grey and winged. You shot twice through the head, and it went down without a sound. You a Nat ran now taking down another one each. Pietro killing the last. Nat stood on guard as you ran towards the cell.

"Steve?" You called. His face appeared.

"Y/N?" You hit the lock hard with your hand it didnt budge. Pietro threw you the keys. You thanked him and unlocked the cell. Steve had been crying, he kissed you as soon as the door was open. Bucky smiled, and hugged you tightly.

"Your an idiot." You mumbled to him. You looked around. "Where the girl? The one that helped you get in the dreams?" Bucky pointed to a pile of bones and rotten flesh.

"What's left of her." He said grimly. "Would have been one of us tonight." You gulped. Nat jerked her head. Pietro stepped forward.

"Okay, Pietro is going to take you to safety. We'll meet you there." Neither of them argued. And soon they were gone. You reached Wands mind. All done, get yourself out if you can. You left your mind open in case she replied, but you werent expecting her too.

You and Nat climbed back up the stairs slowly. Listening, as you walked into the main room. You saw four figures coming in from the other side. "Shit." You pulled Nat with you as you ducked behind the thrones.

"I cant believe your brother and his lady friend deceied to what? Go on a killing spree?" Loki nodded.

"Disgusting isnt it? Fools, wasting all that demon blood." You covered your mouth with your hand to keep quiet. Nat did the same. "But then, what else do you expect from the 'God of thunder'." A round of laughs came from the three other gods. Peering through the gap in the thrones you looked at the other three.

All were very tall and all seemed to have the same dead expression in their eyes. Loki's eyes flicked to you for a split second. You ducked again. "So, where is the so famous Captain America? You promise I'd have my taunts?" Loki began ushering the gods from the room down the stairs.

You nodded at Nat and ran, you jumped the window and carried on across the wasteland. Something caught your side and you fell. Nat turned and shot the demon and pulled you up. Pietro came past and grapped you both. The rest of the time getting from the black moon to Asgard was a blur.

You feet hit the path to bifrost, and as soon as you did Steve had engulfed you in his arms. You both cried as you held each other close, scared if you let go that you'd be separated again. "I'm so sorry I gave up on you." You cried. He pulled back cupping your face.

"No you did the right thing in moving in and becoming a brilliant mother to our daughter." You sniffed as you forced a smile. "I'm sorry I ever left you, and put you through this year of torment." You kissed him softly.

"I understand why you did it. I would have done it for Nat." Nat smiled at you, the smile slowly turned into a frown. "I love you Steve."

"I love you to Y/N. So god damn much."

"Language Captain." You smirked. Nat pushed inbetween the two off you, her hand at your side. You frowned and looked down. You visibly paled at the sight of it. A deep claw mark had cut through the suit, black stuff was oozing from the open wound. Thor hovered over Nats shoulder to see.

"Fornicatur traducitur poison." He said grimly.

"Who's been poisoned?" Loki said appearing just behind you. You gulped turning to face him. "Oh.." he said quietly.

"Why, is there not a cure?" Nat said her voice rising. Loki looked at Thor.

"Well not exactly, there is...but its.. strange." Thor sighed. When he made no attempt to explain further, Loki turned his head away and continued. "To surirve all that demon poison in your body you have to transfer over half of it to someone else, then it will naturally diffuse into your system. The stronger someone is the more they can take. A God for example could take three quarters of that. A mortal even of the Captains strength could only take a quarter."

"So what, me, Bucky and Steve take a quarter each." Nat said her hand in yours. Loki sighed.

"I didn't say how it has to be transferred." He said grimly. "Any one speak Latin?" Nat nodded.

"A little." She said quietly, as if something had clicked in her head.

"Can you then tell me what fornicatur traducitur translates too?" He said still not meeting your eyes.

"Sexually transmitted." Nat said looking at you with a sympathetic expression. "Do you have to?" Loki nodded.

"In Asgard it's not so much of a big deal, sex isn't the same as what you misguardians regard it as." Thor said from the back. Your heart was beating so fast.

"So if I'm right, Bucky?" Loki said looking at him for confirmation of his name, Bucky nodded. "Is your biological father, so that's.."

"Fucked up, yeah." You answered with a slight edge to your voice. "Then what do I do?" You said looking at Steve. He looked from you to Loki. Then to Wanda.

"Wanda and Pietro are kids, it would be wrong to ask them to do that. And me and Nat, as Loki said cant take enough from you. However if either Thor or Loki were willing they could take it all on one go." He didnt look as upset as you'd thought this would make him.

"I'm sorry Y/N, but lady Jane would not be pleased." Thor said with a lot of regret in his tone. Loki slowly met your eyes.

"If it means saving you." He said calmly. But you could feel all his emotions running so high it was making your head hurt. He liked you. Wait....he liked you? You pushed the thought away, and nodded. "We should...sort the problem soon before it damages you permanently." You nodded again.
