"I..found out quite a bit. They have other bases, more enhanced. One that bursts into flames, the Shadow, and more I couldn't see. But that's not the worrying part." You said not meeting anyone eyes. "In a memory, a man was on the phone saying that the Avengers will fall because...because the have someone on the inside."

The whole group seemed to leep apart from each other. "It could be lies though right?" Sam said. You gulped.

"I wish it was, but how can a memory lie?" Tony rubbed his head.

"Tell us exactly what happened." When you'd finished your story Tony looked defeated. "What do we do?" Bruce stepped forward.

"Maybe, if me and Tony can make something that projects what Y/N can see when she goes inside a mind onto a screen. Then she could go through each one of our memories until we find the... you know." Tony nodded.

"Only question is," Sam said. "Can you go inside your own mind?" With a grim smile you nodded.

"Only done it once, but yes I can."

You were sat with Steve on the roof. Most of the Avengers were avoiding each other, only you and Steve, and then you and your dad seemed to be able to be together.

"Who do you think it is?" He asked you suddenly. You shrugged, although you had a theory. "I can tell that you have some idea." You sighed.

"Well, I think it might be Bucky." You shushed him when he went protest. "But I dont think its anything we need to worry about. I think it's the winter soilder they have on their side, so as long as he doesnt slip back I think we're okay." You explained. Steve nodded, kissing you gently.

"I think you might be right." You rested your head on his shoulder.

"You know if it is, the others aren't going to believe his changed." You said quietly.

"Do you?" He countered. You nodded.

"I saw things when I went through his head, he's changed."

"Then maybe the others will see it too." You gulped.

"I'm scared of doing this," he frowned. "Going into someone's head is like standing in a room with five bookshelves. The one closest to you is recent memories, behind that there's all the happy memories, then there's random memories that aren't happy or sad. Then theirs childhood memories, old memories. Then right at the back there's all the dark ones, things people dont share. I'm scared that people aren't going to be ready to share those." Steve frowned.

"Have you seen them all?" You shook your head.

"No, I never go down there apart from on missions. Sometimes I'll see a dark memory if it's been recent, or the person had been thinking about it. Those are personal I dont want to look through then." Steve nodded squeezing your hand. He kissed your cheek.

"Its all going to be okay." He said soothingly.

"Okay we've done it." Bruce said holding up the device. Everyone was gathered round. Bruce out two pads on your forehead, and connected it to the TV. "Who's first?" He asked. Tony sat in the chair next to you.

"I've got a feeling I'm gonna see some things I'm not gonna get out of my head." You said forcing a smile. He smiled back sheepishly but held out his hand. You took it and slipped in.

You went through the recents first, it showed you, him working, talking to Jarvis. Him and Pepper. Him giving Steve a talk about not hurting you. Nothing there. Next the happy memories. You when you were little, him and Pepper a lot. You felt yourself blushing. Him laughing with the team, being with Steve. Flying in his suit.
