Ticking like the clocks
It's another day
Chatting up the walls
There's nothing to sayCovered up with net
The mistletoe made me cry
Hiding inside brick
Couldn't see the skyMaking myself tea
I hope it doesn't spill
All I have is this
Battered up willTried to get up today
Turn on the lights
It's just another day
Another tiring fightSinging Christmas carols
They come knocking at my door
I say I didn't hear them ring
Busy sleeping on the floorThe spiders came out tonight
Hoping for a feast
I told them to come back another day
Let me party with the deceasedThe dust crawled up my neck
Eating up my soul
The fireplace burning me
And me burning out its coalFalling like a leaf
I've been through life alone
Crawling on my knees
Christmas takes a tollWalls are thin
I hear them sing
Mind is blocked
don't want the bell to ringAnother day
another night
It all goes on
With no one in sightPicking myself up
I think I'll say goodnight
To the walls I talked to
To The spiders in sightIk christmas was a few days ago but I couldn't finish this on time so here's a post Christmas poem for y'all.
