Uncovered Lies

Building pressure
Like a fort
On my head
On my broken soul

If that wasn't enough
For me to fall
Into darkness
Into a hole

Then I beg your pardon
For I must say
The dreams we've made
In tatters they lay

The smile you gave me
How your eyes glimmered
When I said I loved you
Were all just lies

So how am I
Supposed to separate
Dreams from reality

When all you gave me
Was false hope and agony
When all I asked for was your honesty
Instead you decided that was too much for me

So when I lay in bed
Crying in despair
Don't you ask me how I'm doing
For you would know pretty well
If you had ever cared

So when I lay in bedCrying in despairDon't you ask me how I'm doingFor you would know pretty wellIf you had ever cared

Hey guys. Guess I wrote another poem. Tell me what you think about it?
This ones kind of out of line and its more of spitting words than rhythm ( which I preferably go for) but I decided to post it before i backed out
