SEPTEMBER, 2017. CONT.
He never called back. That was making me pretty nervous.
I'm sitting at the airport, praying that he texts me or something. I can't just show up and tell him my feelings when he's upset.
Blair told me to just go to New York. She claimed he can't resist me when I'm right in front of her. I'm starting to hope she's right.
My flight gets called and I board the plane which only makes me more nervous. I've been on plenty of planes but this flight made me feel sick.
I check my phone once more to see if he had decided to text.
Nothing.
Great.

New York is busy. Last time I was here was with Harry. It brings back a lot of memories. Good ones.
Although, they don't feel so good right now.
By the time I've settled into my hotel, it's already close to showtime. Luckily, the venue doors haven't even opened yet.
So, I get dressed as rapidly as I can and take a cab to the venue. To be honest, I didn't really think it through enough. Because I had no idea how to get in.
The cab drops me off at the front, where kids and teens and their friends or parents are all waiting. The line goes pretty far. I feel proud for him.
As soon as I step foot onto pavement, the line gets loud. They're all screaming my name and pulling out their phones.
So much for trying to be discreet.
I wave at them and shoot them an awkward smile as I attempt to go to the front. The security guard looks at me as if I'm stupid and I'm beginning to think I'm desperate.
"Monet?!" I hear someone call my name.
I look over to my side to see Gemma. Relief floods through my veins at the sight of her.
"Gemma, thank God. I need you to help me inside."
"What're you doing here?" She laughs, taking my arm as she guides me inside.
The screaming becomes muffled as the door shuts behind us.
"I need to talk to your brother. It's important."
"Is it about the ex boyfriend thing? He was pretty sad about that. But I'm sure it'll be okay. He always forgives you no matter what."
"I just need to talk to him." I urge.
"Okay, well, he's getting dressed and he goes on in an hour. He's on vocal rest right now so I think you're going to have to wait until after."
"He's on vocal rest? That's perfect!" I exclaim.
Gemma looks at me, confused. She shrugs and starts to lead me to his dressing room.
"By the way, you could have just said your name and they would've let you in."
I furrow my brows, "I'm not even on the list."
"Oh darling," She laughs, "You're on the list for every single show he's performing at. Even if you're not going to be there."
I look at her in shock as she stops in front of the dressing room door. His name is slapped right onto it. My stomach knots up.
"Thanks, Gemma." I tell her.
She nods and opens the door, knocking at first.
"Harry, you've got a visitor."
I hear him grunt in protest, but he stops as soon as I enter. Gemma shuts the door and I stand there, my heart pounding.
