JUNE 25th, 2021.

Nothing beats the sweet smell of Paris.

I take a sharp inhale, basking in the warm summer air as I step off the plane.

God, it's good to be back.

It's been a while. Last time I came here was...February of last year? That's right, Valentine's Day. Now that was a holiday. My body was like a pretzel that entire weekend.

"The turbulence was a fucking trainwreck." Blair's voice comes from behind me as she rubs her neck.

"It was not that bad." Francis snorts, making his way down the plane steps.

"Says the one who was snoring louder than the damn engine." Claudia mutters, shoving him forward.

"So is no one going to help with the luggage?" A panting Benny comes shuffling to the door, hunched over various bags and suitcases hanging from his limbs.

The majority of them are Blair's.

"Well, babe! Why didn't you say so?" Blair scoffs, rushing over to him and grabbing the lightest bag before walking ahead.

Benny glares at the back of her head and I snort.

"You chose to marry that one." Is all I say before grabbing my luggage and following after her.

We take two cabs being as there's a lot of luggage and we wouldn't all fit in one. It's me, Blair and Claudia in one, Benny and Francis in the other.

"I can't believe this is actually happening." Blair mutters, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Trust me, you're not the only one that can't believe it." I sigh, leaning against the window.

Once we arrive to our destination, we immediately see Mom and Dad running to the gate excitedly. I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous Dad looks trying to open the gate without the code.

The cab drops us off and Blair and Claudia follow as I punch in the numbers, letting the gate open for everyone enter. Benny and Francis show up seconds before it shuts completely.

"What took you guys so damn long? Do you know how stressful it is when you guys don't text us?" Mom huffs.

I slip past them as they scold Claudia and Francis and even Blair and Benny, rushing through the front door that's already open.

The house is silent, which is oddly shocking to me. Each room downstairs is empty, so I quickly make my way upstairs, creeping down the hall to see the main bedroom door open ajar.

A feeling of warmth spreads throughout my whole body as I gently push the door open, taking in the sight before me. It almost brings tears to my eyes.

I've become too soft over these years.

I drop my luggage near the door against the wall and kick my shoes off, quietly making my way toward the bed. Grinning, I lean over and press a kiss to the sleeping boy below me.

"Took you long enough." Harry grumbles, eyes still shut.

He's lying on his back, arms crossed and fully dressed in a shirt and trousers, the sheet messily draped over his legs. He looks tired, but the second he opens his eyes, they light up like a Christmas tree.

"Couldn't get here fast enough." I say with a wide smile on my face.

"Almost thought you were gonna be a runaway bride." He teases before sitting up against the headboard.
