Edmund's POV:
Me and Y/N continued to hold hands but we still kept a distance. At times she would stop walking to look around and I would run into her. My face always got so red, but she would only turn around and give me a small smile. Eventually she let go of my hand and I walked beside her. Susan groaned and glared at Peter, "I don't remember this way." Peter only laughed at the comment and said, "That's the problem with girls. You can't carry a map in your heads." Lucy gasped at the comment Peter had made. "That's because our heads have something in them." I heard Y/N giggle and I just frowned at the comment Lucy had made."I wish he'd just listen to the D.L.F. in the first place." I looked at Y/N confused. "D.L.F?" She looked at me and rolled her playfully. "Dear Little Friend." Trumpkin sighed, "Oh, that's not at all patronizing, is it?" I smiled and laughed to myself.
Peter's POV:
I looked around, annoyed with the others. "I'm not lost." I turned to them. "No. You're just going the wrong way." Trumpkin said. I frowned and I balled up my fists. "You last saw Caspian at the Shuddering Woods, and the quickest way there is to cross at the river rush." Trumpkin rolled his eyes. "But unless I'm mistaken, there's no crossing in these parts." I clenched my jaw and frowned, "That explains it, then you're mistaken."Y/N POV:
I flinched at Peter's anger. I have never seen him this annoyed. We walked some more and eventually got to the edge of a cliff. Susan crossed her arms and looked at Peter, "You see, over time, water erodes the earth's soil, carving deeper...." Peter glared at her, "Oh, shut up!" I shot Peter a mean look and he flared his nostrils. He nodded and closed his eyes for a second to calm down. "Is there a way down?" Trumpkin looked over, "Yeah, falling." The others were talking but I decided not to listen to their constant bickering. I walked over to Lucy. "Aslan?" She yelled. I turned to face the cliff she was looking at. "It's Aslan! It's Aslan over there! Don't you see? He's right....there." Lucy frowned and turned to the others. Trumpkin looked confused, "Do you see him now?" Lucy turned to face him, "I'm not crazy. He was there. He wanted us to follow him." Trumpkin only groaned, " I'm sure there are any number of lions in this wood." Lucy shook her head and crossed her arms, "I think I know Aslan when I see him." Trumpkin sighed and shook his head looking over at her pleadingly, "Look I'm not about to jump off a cliff after someone who doesn't exist." Edmund looked up, "The last time I didn't believe Lucy, I ended up looking really stupid." I looked up at him and smiled. I wanted to hug him so bad but I didn't wanna ruin anything. Peter sighed and shifted his body so he was looking at Lucy. "Why wouldn't I have seen him?" Lucy frowned , "Maybe you weren't looking." Peter turned away still not believing her. "I'm sorry, Lu."
Peter and the others began to walk but I stayed with Lucy and Edmund. Edmund motioned nicely for Lucy to start following them. She smiled at him and nodded. "That was really sweet of you, standing up for Lucy like that." He walked forward smiling. "I'd do it again....for you." I hugged him and wrapped my arms around him. He returned the hug. I went to kiss him but then I bit my lip and kissed his cheek instead. He smiled but he looked a little upset. "Maybe we should catch up with the others." I held my hand out and Edmund grabbed it. This time when we walked we were almost shoulder to shoulder. After a while of walking we made it to a clearing. It was full of tree stumps and there were men in silver and black uniform all over. Building some kind of bridge. "The Telmarines," I whispered into Edmund's ear. He looked at me and nodded. We all ducked behind a stack of cut down trees. "Perhaps this wasn't the best way to come after all." We all walked back to where Lucy saw Aslan. "So where exactly do you think you saw Aslan?" Lucy stomped her foot on the ground. "I wish you'd all stop trying to sound like grownups." Trumpkin looked around confused. "I don't think I saw him, I did see him." Trumpkin cleared his throat. "I am a grownup." Lucy walked closer to the edge. "It was right over...." The ground collapsed underneath Lucy and she fell. We all screamed for her and ran over. ".....here." We all took a deep breathe and laughed it off. Edmund helped me down but I stumbled a bit causing him to lose balance. He fell over and I fell on top of him. "Sorry!" I said clumsily. I helped him up and he smirked and shook it off. "My hero." I said to him as we stopped to rest for the night.
We all went to sleep for the night. Edmund was close to me so he rolled over and laughed as I rolled closer to him. "So how does it feel to be a knight in shining armor." I whispered. He smiled, "How does it feel to be the most beautiful girl to ever live." I stared into his eyes. I put my hand on his cheek and he wrapped his arms around me. Using his chest as a pillow for me. I looked down at him for a second. His chocolate brown eyes had me in a trance.
I wanted to kiss him, but I knew it still wasn't the time.
I woke up all of a sudden noticing that Peter and Lucy we're gone. I shook Edmund and he shot up. His hair was all messed up and I couldn't help but play with it for a second. 'He's so cute' I thought. Then I got up and so did he.
Susan woke up and we went to find Lucy and Peter. All of a sudden we hear yelling and swords clashing. We run forward and see Lucy standing and watching Peter fight another boy. Peter was about to bash the other boys head in with a giant rock. "No, stop!" Lucy yelled. He dropped the rock and looked back at the boy. "Prince Caspian?" Peter asked the boy. He had long dark hair and a determined look on his face. "Yes? And who are you?" Susan came running out and we soon followed. "Peter!" She yelled.
Caspian turned to Peter, "High King Peter!" Peter just frowned looking annoyed, "I believe you called." Caspian looked surprised. "Well, yes, but....I thought you'd be older." Peter started to slowly turn and back away, "Well if you like, we could come back in a few years." Caspian shook his head. "No. No that's alright. You're just...." He glanced over at Susan and blushed. Lucy and I couldn't help but laugh a little. "You're not what I expected." Edmund looked around. "Neither are you."This was really long, sorry about that. There is just so much in the movie that I'm trying to fit into this. I hope you enjoy it so far! Thanks for reading❤️❤️
