The tv statics for a while in black and white. The sound of a broken screen echoing white noise. The tv then statics to color. It showcases the vivid colorful vertical lines on the display. The tv beeped for a while and the tv then presented a transition scene from a news station.
"Good afternoon. I'm Song Minjoo and here are today's news." The news anchor reported. Her hair was in a neat ponytail and had fair skin with monolid eyes. She turned in her swerving chair facing the designated camera.
"On Halloween night, an international school in the city of Itaewon grievously had a massacre in their own school gym. Shujin Academy, which is an international school run by Kwon Yuri, is known to have loads of peculiar and disturbing events occur in their school. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes at the school as a Japanese gang called the Rising Sun attacks and kills several students. Here's Park Seongmin for the report." Minjoo diligently reports.
The tv then transitions to a man standing in front of the gates of Shujin Academy as he holds his chunky white microphone in his right hand. He was a short man with grey hair pushed back neatly. He nods as he proceeds to report.
"Thank you, Song Minjoo. I'm standing here right in front of the Shujin Academy. Reports say that many students and staff were severely injured. Fifty-five students were killed out of the hundred and fifteen students who attended. Today, a funeral memorial service is being held in their event hall here at Shujin Academy."
Mina took a deep long breath as she gazed into her reflection in her bathroom mirror. She was dressed in a black dress. Only her white collar giving color to her grieving outfit. Her hair was in a low ponytail as the strands of her hair on both sides hung next to her cheeks. With the minimal makeup on her face, Mina couldn't get rid of the bags under her eyes from the sleepless nights she countlessly had. It kept repeating back to Chan being injured, the occurrence of her fellow classmates being killed and trying to protect one another, and Mina herself killing off the leader of Rising Sun, Haruyoshi Watanabe.
Everything hurt minus the physical injuries that have not healed off her body. Unfortunately, she still had a scar on her right cheek. It was going to take more than two weeks to heal as Mina recalled from Nurse Sunyung.
Mina exited from her dorm room and saw two guardsmen in front of her. They were here to escort her safely. A permanent rule made by Junhyuk and Yuri, for Mina every time she wakes up and heads back to her room for the night.
