Party

Next morning all were busy in preparation for a party.

Rakhi: preeta, beta tu decorations dekh le...mujhe aur bhi kaam hain..aur catering bhi dekhni hai.

Preeta: aap tension na lijiye ma, mein sab dekh lun gi..

Rakhi: theek hai..acha sun...karan ko dekh lena..pata nahi utha bhi hai k nahi

Preeta(laughs): mein dekh lun gi..

She goes to his room n saw that he was already awake.

Preeta: wah, kya baat hai..aj tu tum khud hi uth gaye..

Karan: tum kya samajhti ho? Mein aisa hi hun? Wo tu aaj mere liye party hai..is liye uth gaya

Preeta: chalo...tayar ho jana..sham ko party hai..

Karan: hmm

Preeta: konse khayalon mein ho tum? Subah uth gye..theek se baat bhi nahi kr rhe?

(Teasingly): sab khairyat hai na?kahin koi larki waghera ka tu chakkar nahi hai..?

Karan(looking at her): tum tension na lo, karan luthra ki life mein aisa hota rehta hai...(winks at her)

Preeta(scoffed): jo bhi ho...I don't care

She left from there and karan smiled.

At evening

Preeta was getting ready in her room.
She was wearing her bangles when she saw that her wrists had some light marks on it. She them remembered the day before's incident.

Preeta(in mind): is ko cover kr leti hun, agar kisi ne dekh liya, especially karan ne tu bewajah ghussa kre ga..

She wore bangles and wore a white long dress.

She went outside and the hall was all decorated beautifully.

The guests had already arrived.

Sarla: areyy beta, tum agyi..kitni pyaari lag rhi hai meri beti.

Preeta: ma, aakhir beti kis ki hun..

Preeta: karan nahi aya abhi tk?

Rakhi: wo kahan ata hai kahin bhi time pe...humesha aisa krta hai..

Preeta: mein dekhti hoon..

She was going to call him when he was coming.

Preeta(sarcastically): agye tum, hume laga k tum neeche ana pasand nahi kro ge..

Karan: oyee...zyada khush hone ki zaroorat nahi hai, okay? Yeh party mere liye hai,,tu tayar bhi tu theek hi hona tha na..

Preeta noticed that he was wearing white.

Preeta: tumhe white pasand nahi hai..phir kiun pehna?

Karan: tum dumbo tu ho hi...lekin itni dumbo hogi..yeh mujhe nahi pata tha...

Preeta: kya??

Karan: yr white tumhara favourite color hai, is liye pehna

Preeta gave him confused look and he realized what he said.

Karan: umm,,mujhe wahan kaam hai..mein jaata hoon

Preeta try to stop him but he left from there.

Preeta(to herself): is ki mujhe bilkul bhi samajh nahi ati..ek lamhe mujh se aise baat krta hai jese koi puraani dushmani nikal rha ho aur doosre hi pal aise baat krta hai..jese yeh kabhi mujh sa jhagra hi na ho...

Sarla called her and she left from there.
