She saw karan and went towards him.

Preeta(concerned): karan, kahan chale gye the tum? Tumhe pata hai mein kitni pareshan ho rhi thi tumhare liye...

Karan stopped her in middle.

Karan: preeta, kahin nahi gya tha mein ..I'm fine....

Preeta: lekin...then her eyes went to his hands...

She took his hands in hers and said:

Preeta: tum usse lar ke aye ho? Agar tumhe kuch ho jata tu?....

Karan(angrily): agar tumhe kuch ho jata tu?......

He realized what he said and then;
Preeta plz, mujhe thori dair k liye akela chor do...

Preeta: nahi...tum mere sath chalo..kitna khoon nikal rha hai....

She took him inside.

Preeta: betho yahan, mein first-aid le k aati hoon.

Karan: preeta, mein theek hoon..tum kiun pareshan ho rhi ho yr?

Preeta came and sat beside him. She took his hand and start cleaning his wound. While a lone tear escaped her eye.

Karan noticed it but didn't say anything. He was waiting for her to speak.

Preeta(while applying bandage): kiun kiya tum ne aisa?

Karan: kiun k koi bhi meri babydoll ko pareshan kre....wo mein accept nahi kr skta..

Preeta looked at him.

She said: kiun?

Karan(holds her hand): preeta, mein humeshe se tumhe irritate krta aya hoon, tang krta tha, tumhe ajeeb namon se bulata tha(she chuckles) aur aaj bhi krta hoon..

She hugged him as she became overwhelmed by his gesture....

He hugged her back and he said: lekin is ka matlab yeh nahi preeta k mein tum se nafrat krta hoon, tumhari bohot fikr hai mujhe, concern hai...aur koi bhi tumhari aise insult kr k chala jaye...yeh mein accept nahi kr skta..

Preeta looked at him as if finding something she never felt before.

Karan kissed her hand,, she chuckles.

Preeta: thankyou, thankyou for everything.

Karan: anything for you, babydoll. Aur agar ainda mujhe na bataya na,,tu phir mujhe bhool jana.....

Preeta(chuckles): nahi hoga aisa...
Mujhe nahi pata tha yeh double duffer donkey itna serious bhi ho skta hai...

Karan(chuckles): tum nahi samjho gi...aur jesi ho wesi hi rho..zyada samajhdar banne ki zaroorat nahi hai....anyways, thanks for applying bandage.....
He stands up and said: mein chalta hoon, Bohot thak gya hoon...

Preeta: theek hai.....goodnight

Karan(smiles): good night...

Next day in dining hall.

Sarla: karan, teri flight kab ki hai?

Karan: next week ki hai, ma

Rakhi: beta, tu yahan se jaye ga tu mein bohot bore ho jaon gi..

Karan(chuckles): mom, jab tk preeta is ghar mein hai, aap bore ho hi nahi skti...dimaag kha jati hai...

Rakhi: mein ne tujhe kitni baar kaha hai usse aise mat kaha kr..

Karan: acha mom, sorry.
By the way, wo dumbo hai kahan?

Rakhi glared him

Sarla: wo bahar garden mein hai...

Preeta was watering plants n flowers when karan came from behind

She didn't noticed that he came.
He carefully took the nearby hose and start throwing water on her.

Preeta immediately turned back n said: tum.?.....tum pagal ho gye karan? Yeh kesa mazak hai?

Karan didn't stop and then preeta too start trowing water on him.

Karan: yeh kya hai, preeta?

Preeta: wohi..jo abhi tum ne mere sath kiya thori dair pehle....

Karan again threw water on her n ran from there.

Preeta(irritated): tum ruko,  aaj tumhari kher nahi hai karan luthra...

She too ran behind him and calling him. At last they were face to face with him.

Preeta: ab kahan jao ge?

Karan: kahin bhi jaon lekin tumhare paas tu bilkul bhi nahi aaonga...

Preeta: acha? Abhi batati hoon..
She went towards him but slipped due to wet floor.

But karan held her.

He(smirked): kya baat hai preeta arora? Meri baahon mein girne ka bohot shauq hai tumhe?

Preeta: jab bhi sochte ho, ulta hi sochte ho..slip ho gyi thi is liye gir gyi....

Karan: aur agar mein is waqt tumhe chor dun tu?

Preeta: tum aisa kuch nahi kro ge...

Karan: aur tumhe aisa kiun lagta hai mein tumhe nahi choru ga?

Preeta: pata nahi....lekin mujhe yaqeen hai k tum aisa nahi kro ge.

Karan(laughs): ghalat fehmi hai tumhari...ek shart pe nahi chroun ga

Preeta: kesi shart?

Karan: tumhe mujhe sorry bolna hoga...

Preeta: pehle tum ne mere oper pani giraya tha...tum sorry bolo....

Karan: soch lo...yeh na ho k kuch dinon k liye chal hi na pao...

Preeta didn't say anything. And he was about to lose her when she said: acha, I'm sorry..meri ghalti thi,,

Karan(chuckles): good.

He made her stand and said: aise hi meri baatein manti rha kro babydoll..(winks at her)...kiun k mein aisa hi rhu ga..

Preeta narrowed her eyes on him and he left from there laughing.

Preeta(scoffed): kitna ghamand hai is insaan mein,,akdu kahin ka...

Karan(in mind): aaj hasa hi diya isse.....bas aisi hi hasti rha kre....aur mujhe sukoon milta rhe...
