Gaven, Toby, and I were all eating dinner that Toby had cooked. He had made lasagna with garlic bread. “This is pretty good Toby. I didn’t know you could cook.” Gaven said surprised.
“Yea it’s kind of a thing I picked up living alone.” Toby admitted.
“So Gaven what are you doing tomorrow?” I asked.
“Well I was going to go over to Brandon’s house. We were planning on playing Xbox live all night. Why?”
“Just wondering.” I said.
“Well I could always cancel if you need me to. Xbox isn’t as important as my little sister.” Gaven smiled.
The next night when Gaven left, Toby and I sat on the couch to watch a movie we had rented. I had let Toby pick it out since he hadn’t really seen any movies in such a long time. “So what movie did you pick?” I asked.
“Umm I think it was called Annabelle.” He laughed.
“Are you serious? I heard that movie was fucking scary.”
“Well it might end up being scary for you but I’m all about this stuff.”
“Yea, yea whatever.” I’m pretty sure he intended on me being scared just so I would cuddle up to him through the entire movie. And I’m pretty sure that his plan worked. After the movie I went into the kitchen to get a pop. “Oh my God I’m never owning a doll ever again.”
“Awe man. I was going to get one and name it after you.” He joked.
“Ha, ha. Ha very funny.” Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Toby went to open the door when we heard gunshots coming from outside. I ran out of the kitchen and to the door where Toby was standing.
“What the hell was that?” I asked concerned. Toby was just standing there looking out into the darkness. Suddenly Hoody and Masky appeared on the front porch laughing. “What the hell guys. I don’t want guns being shot on my property in less you’re killing the man who ruined my life.” I said. Toby backed up and let them in.
“Where you guys coming from?” Toby asked.
“We just came from the mansion. Do you realize how much the trespassing rate has gone up since No Face died? It’d ridiculous. It’s like they can sense that he’s not there.” Masky said excited.
“Seriously guys. You better not have been executing anybody in my yard.” I said. Toby and the others laughed. We were all doing our own little thing when there was a ruckus coming from outside. Everyone looked at the back door. Seeing something out of the corner of my eye I looked at the window, seeing a pale face looking back at me. It was him. Jeff had finally come to defeat the Goddess. “It’s time.” I demanded. I got up and walked down the hall to my brother’s room to grab the samurai sword. I walked back down the hallway holding the sword in one hand, and making sure my dagger was hooked on to my belt with the other. I then walked to the door, the others following me. I stopped to realize that if any of them died, I was going to be the one responsible. It was going to be my fault for their actions. We all walked out onto the back porch, looking our enemy in the eyes.
