“Travis put down the gun.” I demanded. “I don’t want anyone getting hurt.”

“I’m not doing anything until he admits who he really is.”

“Toby doesn’t have to admit to anything.” I said. “What do you want? You want me to run away with you? I will leave with you right now, just put down the gun.”

“You would run away with me just to save him? Wow he’s really got you wrapped around his scared up fingers don’t he.”

“Travis, just put down the fucking gun.” Toby demanded.

“Come on Travis lets go, we can talk about this somewhere else, away from Toby and everyone else.” I was trying to get him to take me somewhere else so I could get rid of him somehow without the band knowing anything. Out of the corner of my eye I could see that Toby had picked up his hatchets. I grabbed my dagger of the desk behind me. “Please Travis. We can settle this elsewhere.”

“Nobody follows us.” He demanded.

“Okay, nobody will follow us.” I said. I shook my head at Toby letting him know that I would take care of him. Travis lowered his gun and grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the house and into his car.

“Aren’t you going to go after her?” Nick asked.

“No, she doesn’t want me to. She can take care of herself.”

“So you’re just going to sit here and do nothing?”

“Trust me it’s not easy, but when something like this she becomes something you’ve never seen. She’ll be back.” Toby said looking out the window, putting his hatchets down on the coffee table next to him.

“Stop the car.” I said to Travis. He didn’t respond, or stop. “STOP THE CAR!” I demanded. He pulled over to the side of the road. I got out of the car and Travis followed.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m not going to do this Travis. I can’t do this. I have a wedding in one week and I told myself I wasn’t going to let anything get in my way. You know I loved you once, back before I knew who I really was, before I knew what life was really like. Toby used to be a killer, but know the only reason why he would ever kill anybody would be to protect me.” I admitted. “You have two choices. You can forget about me and go home, or we ca do this the hard way and I could just end your life as you now it. Which one are you going to choose?”

“I’m not ever going to forget you. If I can’t have you then neither can Toby.” He pulled out his gun and aimed it at me. For a second I panicked, but then I knew exactly what I needed to do.
