Slenderman, Slendy, No Face, Slim Jim, no matter what names he had adopted over the many years, none of them fit him anymore, the only name I could call him was dad. I jumped up off the couch, I knew he was coming, but for some reason I was still shocked that he was truly still alive. I ran up to him and hugged him. It was the first time I had ever truly felt like he was a true being. He hugged me back in shock. “Annabell, who is this?” Gaven asked

“Well everyone.” I paused for a second I didn’t even know his name. Everyone always called him by his nicknames that he picked up from his form. “My dad.” I finally said. I was hoping he would try to act human in front of everyone.

“Hello, I’m Johnathan, Johnathan Biersack.” What? Was that really his name? Johnathan Biersack. The name rang in the back of my head as I said it over and over again to myself.

“Oh hey, are you related to Andy?” Johnny asked.

“Actually he’s my nephew.” My dad said. What? Is he being serious? Is he aware that Nick, or any of the other band members, could just call up Andy if they wanted to and ask for the truth?

“Hey does anybody want something to eat?” I offered trying to change the conversation.

“Hell yeah!” I heard Lloyd say from behind me as he walked into the room. Thank God!

Me and Toby had cooked breakfast and served everyone. Just as I was walking down the hallway to the bedroom I was stopped by Nick. “Hey I thought you said your dad past away.”

“I thought he did.” I said honestly.

“So he had everyone believing that he was dead and then he just shows up out of nowhere just in time for your wedding? Your father is messed up.” I had to agree with Nicholas. It was pretty messed up.

“Yea, but I’m just glad that he is still alive. I never really ever got to spend much time with him. In fact I didn’t even know he was my dad until about a year and a half ago.” I explained.

“Is he serious about Andy being his nephew?”

“Honestly I don’t know anything about it. I don’t even know anybody on my father’s side of the family.” I looked down at the ground in disappointment.

“Hey listen, I’m sorry I didn’t mean for my question to end up in the middle of your family crises.” He apologized.

“It’s okay. I think I needed to get it out. I never really thought about all of this until now. You know what, could you see what Andy is going to be doing this week and see if he could possibly make it to the wedding? I think it would be nice to meet him since he could possibly be my first cousin.” I offered.

“Sure. I’ll give him a call. I’ll be out in the van for a while if you need me.” He said walking back down the hall. I walked into my bedroom wondering about what we had just talked about.

My dad knocked on the open door. “May I come in?” He asked.

“Be my guest.” I said a bit annoyed about what he had done. He came in and sat down next to me. “Was all that true?” I asked with frustration.

“Yes it was. Now that I am no longer Slenderman, why not come out with who I really am.”

“So what is your story?” I asked. I wanted to know everything about his life.

“What is it about my story that you want to know?”

“Everything.” I said

“Everything?” He asked as if he was serious.

“Yes. Everything.”

“Okay, so where do you want me to start?”

“How about when you were a little kid, you know if you ever where a little kid.”

“Actually I was a kid once. I lived with my mum, dad, and older sister.” He said with a sudden British accent.

“Whoa what’s up with the sudden accent?” I asked confused.

“Well I just assumed it would make the story a little more interesting. What do you have something against the British?” He chuckled.

“No I’m perfectly fine with the British. Go on!”

He went on telling me about his childhood. “The day my life changed was the day my sister went missing. I was about ten years old, she was five years older than me so that would have made her fifteen. She went out for a walk in the woods like she did every day, but this time she didn’t come back. I went out into the woods to look for her and that’s when I found it, the mansion in the middle of the woods. It scared me, but I went in anyway. I needed to know if she had wondered into the mysterious building in the middle of the woods. As I struggled to walk inside I found that I felt a presence in the house. I didn’t feel right. I walked through the house hoping to find any trace of Annalynn, but I found nothing. I walked into this room that was even creepier than I could have ever imagined. I felt like I was being watched.” He paused and took in a deep breath. “Suddenly I could hear my sister screaming. There was a door that scared about what could happen when I got to the end, even more scared about what was happening to Annalynn. When I got to the bottom of the stairs, I found that someone, or something, was waiting for me. At the bottom of the stairs was a figure that looked to be man but it wasn’t a man, it looked like a demon in a man’s skin. It was a demon, but not just a demon, it was the king of all demons himself. It was Lucifer, demon of all demons. Father of all evil and torture. I saw past him only to see my sister hanging by what looked to be a black tentacle that looked to be coming from the shadows. I could see the fear spike in her eyes when she seen me standing in front of the monster. She yelled at me to run but I couldn’t, I was frozen in place from shock. I could feel the darkness begin to consume me. I closed my eyes and got myself ready for what was about to happen to me. I suddenly felt something awaken inside of me. It was, it was overwhelming. I opened my eyes to find that the room was lit up and I didn’t feel the evil presence anymore. Annalynn was on the floor unconscious. From that day on I found that I had all of these abilities. I assumed it was because the demon had found a chance to live within the world without notice and chose me to be its home. I never really knew what happened. We went on with our lives and didn’t talk about what had happened. Our parents died in a car accident when I was fifteen, so I had moved in with my sister. Annalynn had started a family of her own, but was shortly divorced after she got custody of me. Then one night when I was seventeen I woke up with a sharp pain in my head. It was the worst head ache I had ever had. I decided to get up and get a drink but when I walked past my sister’s room something caught my eye. Andy was in his crib sound asleep beside Annalynn’s bed, where Annalynn should have been, but she wasn’t there. She was sprawled out on the floor, covered in blood. She had multiple stab wounds in her chest. I ran to her side and fell to my knees. ‘How could this have happened?’ Those words replayed over and over again in my head. There were words written in blood on the wall, ‘You can’t run from this Johnathan. You will always live with this curse.’  I couldn’t stand the horror. I called the police and ran to the mansion that I had found out in the woods searching the mansion that I had once found, searching for my sister.” I tuned out the rest of his words. He had lived with a curse for so long. His sister was murdered and he was left with nothing and no one but his baby nephew who he ran from, who he left behind. He didn’t want anybody to know what he really was, or who he really was.
