I was walking through the woods. For the first time in a year I felt normal, I felt like I was free from my psychotic self. I looked up at the blinding sun, enjoying its heat on my face. I heard a noise coming from the distance. I turned to see someone walking through the trees. I hid behind a tree so they wouldn’t see me. When they got closer I suddenly knew who it was. “How could it be?” I thought to myself. It was me, but at the same time it wasn’t. It was like I was in somebody else’s body and walking through the woods at the same time. I opened my eyes and looked in the direction that I saw myself from. I began to walk closer, gripping my dagger. I closed my eyes once more to see if it would have the same affect. I was still behind the tree. Suddenly I fell to the ground, coughing up blood. I opened my eyes to see the person on their knees. I couldn’t believe it, I was speechless. I didn’t know what to do, should I go comfort them or should I stay away. Toby looked up me, he had a hint of sadness in his eyes. I could tell he wanted me to stay away from him, he didn’t trust himself. He didn’t know what he would do to me if I got too close. Ignoring him I began to walk closer. I realized that now while he was in this short window of sanity, I could try my best to help him.

“N-n-no, s-stay aw-w-ay.” Toby said with fear. His turrets were bad. They were worse than I had ever seen them.

“I’m not leaving you Toby.” I said with a coming voice. “I’ve had to live a year without you and I’m not letting you go this time.” He looked at me with so much fear. I knelt down next to him. Wrapping my arms around him, I began to hug him. “How am I supposed to help you if you won’t let me near you?”

He began to cry. “I-I, d-don’t th-think you c-c-can.” He coughed up more blood.

“How did this happen?” I helped him off the ground. “Come on I’m taking you with me back home.”

“N-no y-you c-c-can’t. I-I can’t c-contr-rol mys-s-self. I-I-I don’t w-want to h-h-hurt you.”

I didn’t care what he said. I wasn’t taking no for an answer, and I think deep inside he knew that. We began to walk towards the house. He had to stop a couple times to catch his breath. It was like he only had one lung.

We got to the house thirty minutes later. When I brought him inside it was like everyone had just seen a ghost. “Get that fucker out of here!” Hoody yelled.

“He’s not going anywhere!” I yelled back. I took Toby to my room and let him take a shower. He smelled like death. I took his cloths and put them in the washer. I went into Gaven’s room and grabbed a t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans that Gaven didn’t fit into, but he couldn’t get rid of them. I brought the cloths back into my room and took them into the bathroom for Toby. I started searching for things that I could do to keep him from losing himself. I thought back to when he was sleepwalking in his cabin. I had uncontrollably used my powers while yelling at him. When I had yelled at him, my voice had a ring to it, it was calming but terrifying. Maybe that was how Slenderman had kept him sane. Maybe if I could use those powers to keep him intact. I had no other choice but to try it.

Toby got out of the shower and noticed that I had took his cloths and began to get angry. “Well I’m sorry Mr. I have to wear the same cloths all the time. Just put on the freaking cloths.” I demanded. Without a word he put on the cloths.

“H-how do I-I look?” He asked mocking me.

I began to laugh. “You look like my brother.” Our eyes locked onto each other. I couldn’t take my eyes off his. His brown eyes were mesmerizing. He walked over to me and began playing with my long brown curls. I brushed the hair out of his face. My blue eyes once again met with his brown ones. We kissed, not able to pull apart, and fell backwards onto the bed.
