Chapter 4

-later that night at their house for the movie-

I started to get lost in my mind during the movie, I was sitting with Jacie while it played he was next to Emmett and Rose who were cuddling with each other Emmett had his fingers running through both their hairs.  Edward was what had me thinking, he always gave me looks and smiled at me maybe flirted a bit. He was very charming and I couldn't help but have a crush on him even though we barely know each other, he was everything I looked for in a man. There was one important problem. He belonged to Bella she was his and he was hers unfortunately, I wish he was single but Bella is so overprotective with him. The movie was getting ready to end an it's about twelve thirty in the morning, I'm nowhere near sleepy and I could see they weren't either but Jessy was knocked out cold. Bella was I guess trying to get a kiss from Edward to no avail, the others were just cuddled up talking quietly I felt really left out. Alice looked up from her conversation with Jasper and smiled at me motioning me over with her finger. Smiling I got up and skipped over to her and sat next to jasper.
"How are you doing this fine night Maxine?" Jasper asked grinning
"I'm fine thank you and you jazzy?"I grinned back using my own nickname
. He laughed and stood up carefully putting Alice down, and picked me up spinning me around. I giggled like a child it was fun as hell and it was perfect because he was taller than my 4'11 frame. I was probably a child to him. He was like 5'9 and Edward was the same height. By then everyone was looking at us and smiling except Edward and Bella which was weird. Jasper set me down and sat down pulling me on his lap. I curled up with him running his fingers through my hair gently making me very sleepy. Alice rubbed my back as she leaned on Jasper's shoulder, Bella suddenly stood up making me sit up alarmed along with Jasper and Alice.
"Get the hell out of our house, you're a slut Jasper is Alice's so get off him!" she yelled I jumped up scared and Jacie did to looking around trying to figure out what was happening. She started to remind me of my past, grabbing my phone and keys I raced out the room and down the steps Jacie on my tail running after me. I could hear the footsteps following me. As I got to the door their parents stopped me and asked what was wrong. I probably looked a mess tears falling down my face and my heart racing fast.
"My goodness dear what's wrong?" Esme asked touching my face.
The Cullen siblings raced downstairs and ran up to me asking me if I was okay, I flinched back from them and frowned, suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my cheek I cried out and fell to the floor and Jacie yelled in alarm. Looking up I saw Bella standing there grinning and everyone else looking shocked. Suddenly Jasper and Edward were being held back from her. Carlisle was being held by Esme and there was yelling. I quickly stood up feeling more tears and I could feel my face starting to swell up and throb slightly I grabbed my bag, jacie hand and ran out of the house fast.
"Wait Maxine and Jacie come back!" yelled Jasper "No!" I yelled back through my tears and started my car driving away to my house with my friend
Jasper's pov.
I've never been so angry in my life I couldn't help but lunge after Bella and be held back by the love of my life, Edward was held back by Emmett and Rosalie while Rosalie growled at Bella. Carlisle had to be held back.
"How could you do that to the poor girl Isabella?!" yelled Carlisle
"She needs to know who's boss." She sneered back
"She is human I pulled her on my lap myself and as you can see, Alice had no problem with it!" I yelled." She is important to me and I will not let you hurt her!"
"Why is she so important?!"
"Because she is my mate!" yelled Edward
"No I'm you mate Edward!"
"He doesn't even want you he wants Maxine." Emmett roared
After we calmed down they let us go and stepped back. Carlisle took a deep breath and told Bella she is no longer in our coven and to pack her things and leave. Edward told her she may not contact him anymore or anyone in the family.
I can't believe she did this....why do I feel so protective over this human girl? I had this parental instinct to be with her and be a father figure to her, she has no family I know that for sure don't ask how. Edward looked at me smiling slightly along with everyone else.
"Is that how you feel?" Edward asked
"Yes it truly is and it scares me." I whispered as Alice sat on my lap rubbing my head.
I couldn't get my mind off it, I started to voice how I felt to everyone and they smiled and happiness flowed into me from them. I felt proud of myself in some weird way.
We all went to our rooms and laid down to do what we do since we don't sleep. I love my family and I love Maxine and Jacie too.
