Maya

I gave Darry his five days. I had given that bitch enough time to try and "fix us". The games were over and I was now bringing in the big dogs.
I called Tim and Curly Shepherd. Johnny Collins and Tex McCormick. Mark Jennings and Bryon Douglas.
We were having a little get together tonight and Aunt Alison had no say in it.
Later that night everyone started showing. Darry was still working while Alison had made a run to the store, making it the perfect time to start this party up.
"The party is here!" Tex hollered walking through the door, Johnny Collins right behind him. The two lived in Garyville, which was awhile north of us in Tulsa.
"Hey y'all! Beers and other alcohol is in the kitchen. Upstairs is off limits, gangs in the backyard!" I grinned widely, shoving them through the living room.
Mark and Bryon were the next ones to show. They lived in Tulsa and went to the same school we did. I repeated the same thing I said to Tex and sent them on their way.
"Hiya Maya!"
I inwardly groaned at the annoying high pitch voice of Sandy. We had to deal with her freaking out about Soda's ribs at the hospital.
"Hi Sandy." I forced a grin upon my face, "Soda is out back."
"Alright thanks!" She skipped through the kitchen. I could hear her yell for Soda from the living room.
Sandy was a nice girl don't get me wrong, but she was too classy for me, besides I was rooting for Peyton.
Tim and Curly, with a few others from their outfit, were last to come. I showed them where to find the alcohol, then joined the rest outside.
Peyton was standing with Pony and Johnny by the shed. Steve and Soda stood with Bryon and Mark, talking about some drag race. Dallas stood with the Shepherds and Two-Bit stood with Tex and Johnny Collins.
"Come on guys! Let's get this party going!" I shouted. I turned up our radio as loud as it could go, Jailhouse Rock playing though the speakers.
That's when everything took off. We we were singing and dancing and drinking, and doing every Allison was against, but we didn't care.
Mark was already drunk by the time he get there, drunk on alcohol and drunk in life, the guy never stopped. Bryon was the same way, reckless.
"Where's Angela? The invite was extended to her," I ask Bryon. The two were going steady and had been for a few months.
"I don't know, she said she was coming." Bryon shrugged looking around the backyard.
Mark then shoved a beer in Bryon's hand and pulled him away from me.
I made my way over to Tex and Johnny Collins, the two were Pony's age. Tex's older brother Mason was my freshman year boyfriend, we broke up because of the "distance" but really it was because we were dumb kids.
Johnny Collins has multiple older siblings that Darry used to be friends with a compete with during football and track, and that's how we knew them.
"Mace and Bob know y'all are here? I thought I said for you to bring them!" I laugh shoving Tex's shoulder.
"They should be here in a little bit. Claimed they were coming." Tex laughed and JC continued, "Had to leave before Cole could tell them no."
