Juliana's P.O.V.
"Good news my famous bionic peeps," Leo said as he walked into the house, setting down a box. "Your new PR guy came out big time."
"Please tell me it's not another celebrity game show, we always lose," Chase said.
Bree sighed. "Probably because one of us always hits the buzzer too soon and doesn't know the answer," she stated, glaring up at Adam.
"In my defense, I thought hitting the button was the right answer," Adam admitted and I rolled my eyes.
"Remember that big magazine interview I got you guys?" Leo asked. "Well, the article just came out thanks to yours truly, Leo Dooley of Dooley Entertainment of Leo Corp."
"Awesome!" Chase exclaimed.
"I want to see!" Bree said, all of us walking up to Leo to grab a copy of the magazine. I frowned as soon as I read the first few lines. "W-Wait, the reporter interviewed all of us, why is Adam the only one on the cover?"
"This whole article makes it look like Adam is in charge," I pointed out before reading out loud. "'Adam Davenport is the bionic team's leader, strong man, and all-around superstar'?" I raised a brow as I looked at Chase and Bree.
"Finally, someone gets how things work around here," Adam said, not fazed by the inaccuracy at all.
"Hey, listen to this," Bree spoke up. "'Along with Adam's little brother, the girl helps him on missions.'" Bree threw down her magazine. "It's like you and I barely even exist!" She exclaimed, motioning to Chase.
"What're you talking about, you guys are mentioned right here, see?" Adam pointed out. "'Bree and Chase Davenport not pictured."
Bree sighed and Chase frowned heavily.
"Hey, guys, what's going on?" Dad asked as he walked in.
"This article totally misrepresents how our team works," Chase explained, stepping forward to show dad the magazine. "People are going to think Adam is the only one who does anything."
"Oh don't worry, I'll set the record straight and tell them the girl does stuff too," Adam said, Bree rolling her eyes.
"Guys, don't worry about it, the media distorts everything," Dad explained. "I mean one time an article said I was self-absorbed." We all glanced at each other as dad laughed, deciding not to contradict him right now. "Look, the important thing is that you know the truth about who you are and what you do."
Chase opened up the article again and started to read from it. "'We also spoke to Leo Dooley, the bionic team's brilliant mastermind.'" Chase read.
Dad snatched the magazine from his hands. "What?! That's it, I'm calling my lawyer."
Dad rushed out and Chase sighed as he turned to me. "I can't believe this," he muttered and I pulled him into a hug.
"Don't worry, I'm sure dad will sort it out," I assured. "Besides, I know the truth." I smiled and reached up to give Chase a small kiss. Chase sighed before giving me a soft smile.
"I know kitten, it would just be nice for people to get the story straight for once."
Later... Chase's P.O.V.
Adam, Bree, and I walked into the lab, tablet in my hand.
"Leo, look at this," I said, showing him the tablet as he was sitting at his desk. "It's bad enough that magazines are twisting the facts but now gossip sights are writing all sorts of lies about us." Leo took the tablet to look over it.
