Chase's P.O.V.

"Good news you guys!" Leo announced to Bree and me as he walked into the lab. "Mom and Big D just called and said Juliana is doing a lot better and the doctors are saying she's going to make it!" 

My eyes widened as I set down my tablet.

"That's amazing!" Bree exclaimed.

"That's great," I said, very relieved.

"Soon she'll be back making us all smile like she was never gone," Leo said with a smile, and I nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, I really miss her," Bree said. "Although it's been nice having all of her clothes and hair spray to myself." 

I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "Actually, Adam's been using the hair spray too," I said. "He's been developing new hairstyles for his armpits. You wouldn't think it, but the ponytails are surprisingly cute." 

Leo gave me a weird look.

"You know, we should've traded Adam for one of Krane's bionic soldiers when we had the chance," Bree joked and my eyes widened in horror.

"Oh no, the soldiers!" I exclaimed. "I was so worried about Juliana I completely forgot about them!"

"Relax, I'm sure they're fine," Leo assured. "Now that the Triton app is deactivated they're just normal teenagers. Normal teenagers roaming the streets with deadly bionic abilities- we need to find them!"

"Find who?" Adam asked as he walked into the lab.

"Krane's soldiers," Bree explained.

"Oh, I think I can help with that." I raised a brow, but all thoughts of doubt left when we walked upstairs to see all of the soldiers in our living room. "They're right here!"

"You invited thirty bionic soldiers into our home?!" I exclaimed.

"No, I invited one... The other twenty-nine were hiding in the bushes and they followed us home." I looked at the others in disbelief, who also looked shocked. "Chase, Bree, I don't think you guys have been formally introduced to our friends. This is S5, S6, S7, S8, and... ah, I'm sorry I forgot your name." I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

"Hi, I'm S3!" The same kid I had saber fought yesterday introduced himself to me. I jumped and cried out, backing away from his extended hand.

"I know who you are," I stated. "You tried to kill me." 

S3 looked shocked and confused, but I couldn't forget. "Why would I do that? I don't even know you friend." 

S3 went to touch me but I backed away. "I am not your friend. You used your electric fork thingy on me. Things don't electro forky thing friends." 

S3 shook his head like he couldn't remember. "N-No, I don't remember that. But if I hurt you I'm sorry."

"Dude, never apologize for hurting Chase," Adam stated and I gave him a look.

"Wait, so you don't remember anything?" Bree asked and S3 shook his head.

"I remember my name is S3 and these are my brothers and sisters, and we followed this smart guy here," S3 explained, motioning to Adam.

"Well, he obviously doesn't remember what the word smart means," Bree stated before pausing. "They don't remember anything. It's like they're bionic blank slates."

"Can we keep them?" Adam asked hopefully. "Most of them are potty trained, S27 is still a work in progress."

"No, we can't keep them," I snapped. "Just twenty-four hours ago they were trying to destroy us."
