Bionic Rebellion Pt.1

Juliana's P.O.V.

A few weeks had passed since the incident with the training simulator. Thankfully dad was fine and everything had gone back to normal. I had a break from my students for a little, so I decided to observe how everyone else's training was going.

"Okay, Lexi," Bree said to her star student. "When you're under attack, use your super speed as a distraction to catch your enemy-" Before she could answer Lexi rushed forward and knocked back Bree. "-Off-guard.

"I'm so sorry," Lexi apologized. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," Bree said as Lexi helped her up. "Tomorrow we'll cover timing."

Well their training was going well. I headed over to Adam's ground.

"Okay, guys, this is called Bionic Arm Wrestling," Adam explained and I chuckled. "Now, it's not really training, but it's fun. So we're doin' it. Alright, Tank, you're up first." Tank nodded and they got into the position on the table. "Go!" Tank brought Adam's arm down to the table faster than I expected, but he didn't stop, bending the metal table. "Okay, Tank, you can let go now! Let go!!" Adam wrenched his arm away and his students laughed. Adam chuckled nervously. "Uh, since you guys have never arm wrestled before, let me explain what just happened. I won."

I rolled my eyes and walked over to Sebastian and Chase.

"Wow," Sebastian said. "Looks like we've all learned a lot from you guys. Pretty soon I might even be smarter than you."

Chase laughed before giving Sebastian a dead stare. "Don't ever say tha stated.

"Good morning, everyone," Leo said as he walked in.

"Not for me," Spin stated. "Bob kept me up all night with his snoring."

"It's not my fault," Bob protested. "You try breathing with this thing. I've got a Spin-sized nose on a Bob-sized body."

"Greetings, everyone!" Dad announced as he walked in, waving his arms about dramatically. "I have returneth from the mainland."

"And no one careth," Leo stated, mocking Dad by waving his arms and smacking him in the face. 

"Ah, come on. No fanfare? No balloons? No rousing round of applause?"

"I didn't even know you were gone," Bob stated.

"If you're looking for applause, try adding a couple more bathrooms in the student dorm," Spin stated. "Maybe just one exclusively for Bob."

"I gotta agree. It ain't pretty in there."

"I'm gonna take your word for it." Dad turned to Adam, Bree, Chase, and me. "Guys? So how, have things been going here without me?"

"Amazing!" Bree exclaimed before pausing. "I mean, uh... we miss you!"

"I know I missed you!" I said with a smile and laugh before hugging Dad.

"Don't worry Mr. Davenport," Sebastian stated. "Adam, Bree, Chase, and Juliana have been doing a great job. They're amazing mentors.

"Well, good," Dad said with a proud smile. "Maybe I can cut my trip short and head back to the mainland tomorrow."

"Cool, he finally got the hint," Adam said and dad raised a brow. "I mean, 'She loves you!'"

"Not so fast Donnie," Perry said. Ugh, right, she was head of security now. "Come Lately. Things around here aren't peachy as the droid babies say they are."

"Really?" Leo asked in disbelief. "Name one problem, Sergeant Short Set."

"Well, for starters, they've been littering in the hallways."
