Bionic Rebellion Pt.2

Juliana's P.O.V.

I shuddered at Sebastian's words. He really did look like he wanted to kill me, and it was terrifying. I loved him, he was my brother. How could he do this?

"You won't touch her," Chase growled, pushing me behind him.

"You can't protect her, Chase," Sebastian sneered. "You couldn't protect her from our father, so what makes you think you can come against me?"

Chase stiffened, but before he could make a move I grabbed his arm and pulled him back. 

"No, don't be provoked by him!" I cried, looking up into Chase's eyes.

"What are we gonna do?" Bree asked. "We have to save Mr. Davenport."

"And Perry," Adam stated.

"Absolutely," Chase assured before pausing. "Time permitting."

"You know what? I'll save you the trip," Sebastian offered. "You can say goodbye to both of them from here."

"Look!" Perry exclaimed on the feed and I knew they could see us. "It's the mechanical people."

"Yes, we're saved," Dad said in relief.

"Not exactly!" Sebastian said.

"Sebastian," Dad growled.

"He blew up the hydraloop tunnel and cut off your oxygen supply," Chase explained.

"So, bad news we're gonna need new hydraloop," Adam said.

"Adam!" Bree exclaimed.

"Well, I can't tell him we're gonna need a new father too, that'd be rude."

"Look, will somebody please tell me what's going on?" Dad asked.

"Sebastian knows about Krane and he's trying to start a rebellion with the rest of the students," I explained.

"What? How does he know about Krane?"

"I might have told him," Chase said. "Only because I thought we were friends."

"See, there's your first mistake," Perry said. "Who'd wanna be your friend?"

"Chase has been very helpful," Sebastian said. "And once my brothers and sisters hear what really happened to our father, they'll join me. Then we can fulfill his dreams of bionic humans ruling the world."

"Guys, don't let him near the other students," Dad said. "They're not ready to know about Krane yet! They won't understand why we had to destroy their creator."

"Then you probably shouldn't have just told them," Sebastian stated and my eyes widened. 

He must've been transmitting this to the other students.

"Please believe me, I was planning on telling you about Krane eventually, but I couldn't let anything interfere with teaching you to become bionic heroes," Dad tried to assure the students. "I needed you to trust-" Sebastian cut the feed before he could say anything else.

"Great, now we'll never know why we should trust him," Adam said.

"Sebastian, why are you doing this?" I asked. "We're the ones who took out Krane."

"Exactly," he spat. "And now you're gonna know what it feels like to lose your father."

"Krane wasn't a father to you any more than he was to me. He was a deranged madman who killed his own wife and performed experiments on his daughter!"

"He was our leader! And he was gonna prove to the world that bionic humans are superior. Until you all got in our way."

"Is it too late to say we're sorry?" Adam asked.
