Chapter 22

Alastor POV

It had been weeks since our lovingly day togheter as my darling Angel was all healed up and better now. But i could not shake this feeling that someone was watching us everytime we left and becoming more daring as i felt them honing in on us, but everytime i turned around the damn bastard was gone. I became more alert as i felt like i was beeing stalked by a predator wich confused me more. I felt scared for the first time in my life, but always stayed close to Angel as i felt like whoever this was, was after Angel. Today Angel wanted to go out to the mall but i did not trust this as i held his hand "love, can we not stay inside and perhaps cook something togheter?" i ask as he sighs "al...ya cooped me up inside for days now and i need a breather. i know ya need this as well, so stop beein' a fuckin' coward and come along" i look at him suprised "excuse you!?" "ya heard me deer boi, yer a coward" he sais while slowly moving backwards to the frontdoor "i most sertainly am not!!!" "prove me wrong then!" "i do-" "bwaaack bwack bwack" "angel" "bwaaaack bwaaack bwack bwack" "stop it" "bwack bwaaaack" "oh you little" "bwack!" "that is it!!! come here you!!!". He starts to run out of the building while laughing as i run after him "ya never catch me! ya chicken!" "we will see about that!!" i gain up on him and finally grab him around the waist, lifting him up and twirling around as we laughed "ye sure got me now al~" he purred victoriously as i noticed we were at the mall now. I place him back on his feet as he turns around and kisses me gently "but i still win" "well played" i said while inwardly getting alert and panicking. Angel held my hand and it felt like everything was good and safe as i followed him around the mall. Suddenly a loud explosion near us caused for chaos all around as Angel got seperated from me "al! AL!!" Angel tries to reach out for me as i almost had his hand, suddenly he was not there anymore as an incredulously fast beeing had grabbed him. I look around trying to find Angel but he got swept away outside the mall by the crowd.

No ones POV

Alastor had come back to the hotel as he immediatly told Charlie what had happend and he was a panicking mess right now. But can you blame him? They both went through alot togheter and now for the first time in his life he was scared of something he had not seen yet. Charlie had reassured him and send him to his room to calm down. Charlie went up to Husk as sat on one of the bar stools "husk, can i ask you something?" "sure, but make it snappy" "has alastor ever been scared?". Husk spits out his booze and starts to laugh, very hard "are ya shittin' me? he's neeverbeen afraid of anything!". Husk calms down from his laughing fit and looks at Charlie "why'd ya ask?" "oh no reason" she looks away and that told Husk alot "are ya telling me that he's afraid?" "well he was very afraid when he came to the hotel"Charlie said as Husk sighs and lazely walks away from the counter towards the front of it "where are you going?" "gonna check this shit out myself" he sais as Charlie follows behind him. They pass Nifty and Vaggie as they raise an eyebrow "what is going on here?" Vaggie asks "well...we're going to see if al is oke" Charlie hinted as Vaggie and Nifty followed along. Eventually they made it to Alastor's room as they saw his magic seeping out through the cracks of the door "this isnt good" Vaggie sais as Charlie opens the door to see Alastor pacing around, sweating bullets while quicering in his boots. "well shit, ya were right!" Husk sais before entering the room and giving Alastor one big fat slap in the face, snapping Alastor out of his state. Alastor growls and rubs his cheek "what are ya scared of?" "what?" "WHAT.ARE.YA.SCARED.OFF?!" "i am not scared!!" "then why were ya shaking like a leaf?" "i was not". Alastor was in denial as the two of them kept arguing until "where is angel?" Nifty asks innocently as Alastor looks away with his ears drooped down. "he got kidnapped" Charlie sais as Husk's eyes widen while he stared at Alastor before he grabs him by the shirt "and ya just let that guy take him just like that!" Alastor stayed quiet "angel was right, ya became a coward alastor" Husk lowly growled out. Alastor glares at Husk "you take that back" he demanded "or what? ya gonna cower again like ya did with whoever took yer lover! ya used ta want ta kill anyone who would've even try and kidnap him!! now yer a whoose!!!" Husk sais before he left Alastor's room, leaving the deer demon dumbfounded in his room. Alastor glances over to Nifty who followed Husk, then at Vaggie who followed suit and then at Charlie who had a sympathetic look on her face "dont worry we will find him..." she sais in a sad tone before she left. Alastor really despised that look with a passion, but he could not deny that Husk was right for once. He had become a coward and that for someone he had not even seen yet...but why? He never was scared in his entire life, so why now?

~Meanwhile with Angel~

Angel POV

I just woken up in an unfamiliar room and the smell of pheromones was everywhere, it was an afwel smell. I stood up and walked towards the window to see where i was. I push the curtains to the side slolwy and saw i was surrounded by tree's, indicating i was in the forest...but not any part of the forest. The tree's around here change color depending who is dominating this part of the woods, they had silver and black leaf's as i look down to see wolf like demons or demons who look human but with some wolf traits to them. I back away knowing instantly who's territory i'm in and dart for the door as i open it only to see a grey haired demon infront of me, who stupidly is the same size as Alastor. "awake i see" he sais politely as i back up "w-who're you?" i ask as he takes a few steps closer to me "my name is dolphus, but most call me dolph" "i see..." i was trying to look for a way around him but he grabs my lower pair of hands "and your my bride to be" "i what now?!" i said confused and starteld. He suddenly smiled widely at me "oh i believe your familly did tell you about the arrangements, but failed to bring you to me. i understand though, alastor is a demon nobody can mess with...unless it is me" he chuckles before bringing my hand towards his face and placed a kiss on the back of my hand. "ya mean, ya still wanna marry me?! i thought it was just a fluke or somthin'" "oh no! once i discovered of valentino no longer having his disgusting hands on you anymore, i just had to have you. but then that red deer just had to interfear" he growled out. "ya seem afwully familiar with him..." i said as he perks up "but ofcours sweetheart, i am the only demon who can succesfully bring fear into his heart" he stated proudly. "h-how?" i suddenly started to feel dizzy "just like i am doing right now" he chuckled as my knee's caved in, but he caught me. There was this other smell that filled up the room "i discovered that my familly, the canis lupus mafia familly can manipulate scents and that is how i got to alastor" he chuckled menacingly. I reconized this smell all to well, it was a mixed smell between heat and dominance as it was the only smell that would make me feel this way...only now i didnt like it. 'alastor' was the last thing i thought before i blacked out.
