bonus chapter

donghyuck was sitting on haerim's couch, patiently waiting for haerim to choose a movie.

once she chose, she went to sit back down next to him, cuddling him in the process.

"really haerim? jumanji?"

"what! it's a good movie"

donghyuck laughed at his girlfriend's pouty expression and kissed her slowly.

"it's ok", he said in a mere whisper, "i like jumanji too"

haerim's smile was brighter than any other time, having donghyuck next to her was more than enough to bring her happiness.

they closed the lights, brought out the popcorn and started watching the movie.

once the movie ended (to which haerim cried in the ending and donghyuck was making fun of her), they moved to the bedroom. 

they spent hours just talking to each other, cuddling and occasionally making out.

haerim wanted to tell him what she had done. haerim really did.

she had regretted committing murder to innocent girls just because they liked her boyfriend and she wanted to let it off her chest.

even if it meant that donghyuck would hate her.

"donghyuck. i need to talk to you about something really important" she said staring right in his eyes.

donghyuck started to feel a little nervous from the intensity of her stare.

"what is it haerim?"

"i-" she took in a deep breath and continued.

"i'm not who i may seem."

donghyuck was beyond confused at haerim's confession. 

"what do you mean?" he tried to understand the situation and what was happening.

"i-i killed people donghyuck"

donghyuck laughed, thinking she was joking.

"that's a funny joke haerim but tell me now what's wrong?"

"donghyuck i'm not joking." she said with the most serious face she could pull.

donghyuck stared at her with wide eyes, trying to comprehend what his girlfriend was saying.

"w-what do you-"

"i killed jung eunhee, kim soobin and kim soojin." she said, almost too confidently for her own liking.

"w-why.." 

"because, they were taking you away from me. donghyuck i-"

was it time for haerim to confess her love for donghyuck? she felt it was the right time, and the wrong at the same time.

"donghyuck i love you, i love you so much that's why i did it. i did because i couldn't envision my life without you. and i still can't. and now that you're finally mine, i realised how much of a mistake it was murdering those innocent girls. i realised that life is priceless and you can't get it back. i made the grave mistake of taking something so valuable and irreplaceable  from three people and i wanted to get it off my chest. i couldn't live on with this guilt of committing such a horrendous act. and it's okay if you don't like me anymore or you want to report me, i get it. i just felt like you should know about what i did. after all, i did it because of you."

donghyuck couldn't utter a single word. he was too shocked with haerim's confession. but he somehow felt relieved. relieved that she had told him. now he knew her real self. and he couldn't help but still like her.

donghyuck carefully cupped haerim's cheeks and wiped away her tears that had started falling. he stared at her and proceeded,

"i love you too haerim. i love you so much. you were there for me when no one else was and even though, y-you murdered people, i forgive you. you realised your mistake and i'm sure you won't do it again. that's what i like about you. you're quick to reflect on your wrongs and fix them. now i know, this is a big deal but.." he paused for a second, "i can't let you go. you're just too important to me. thank you for sticking by me." and with that,

his lips crashed onto hers with a passion he didn't know he had inside.
