„Yes, I want this. I want you, Patrick,“ she answered and kissed him knowing that everything will be alright because she is with him.

“Ellen… I want to do this right. I don’t want to push you into something you don’t want. You are precious to me. We can spend the night together but…” he was cut off by Ellen.

“But I want to spend the night with you… just let me do one phone call to Chris,” she said as she pulled out. He grabbed her arm and rubbed his thumb on her so soft skin.

“I love you.” It was simple, just a sentence, but it meant a lot. She smiled and looked into his wonderful ocean eyes.

“I know.” She kissed him and then she walked away. Patrick was looking at her and still he couldn’t believe what had just happened. Was it only a dream?

After a moment, he realized that Ellen is gone somewhere. He went to their trailer but she wasn’t there, however, the lights were turned on and her handbag was on the sofa. Suddenly, he got an idea. He took his car key and wallet and went to parking lot. Ellen’s car wasn’t there. He hopped into his car and sat for a moment before he started the car. Dear Lord… I love her. He said to himself as he drove off.

Ellen opened the door of her house and was greeted by angry Chris. She came to him and sat down on the couch.

“What do you want?” he asked her harshly. She looked at him in surprise. How could she live with someone for so long?

“Do you love me?” she asked him. He didn’t bother to look at her. She stared at him, piercing him with her eyes but saw no response.

“Chris! Do you love me?!” she almost shouted at him. He looked at her, finally.

“Ellen, why do you waste my time with so stupid question?” he said sharply and put down his legs from the coffee table. Ellen hated this. This. Everything. Him.

“I want to break up. I can’t be with you anymore. I don’t love you.” She got up from the couch, feeling relieved and free.

“I’m leaving now and please, leave my house. You know where to go.” She said as she turned to go away.

“What the hell? What do you mean by You know where to go?” Chris asked sarcastically and approached her. She turned back and smiled.

“Please, don’t play stupid. I know about all your little whores. Just please, leave my house and my life. I don’t want you to be here when I will come here tomorrow around 6 in the afternoon. Can you at least do this for me?!” she said with her voice raised.

“Go fuck yourself, Ellen. Or better let that Dempsey asshole fuck you!” he shouted. She had her hand on the doorknob. She hesitated for a while but then she turned and said: “Damn, you got that right.” And with that, she left. She left her life full of lies and pretending to be happy. For now, she decided to be happy and not take care of what other people think about her. She got to her car and drove back to the trailer. She got scared because she realized that she had left Patrick without saying anything and that maybe he’s gone by now. But she didn’t have anywhere to go so the trailer was the only option. As she was approaching the parking, she saw the very familiar silver car that only one man could drive. She smiled as she parked her Range Rover next to the Porsche. She got out of the car and almost run to the trailer. With her hand shaking, she opened the door. She expected everything but not this… but she immediately knew that this is forever.
