We got back from the mall and we unpacked all of the new clothes that we got at the mall. April and Syd, were getting a kick out of it; I on the otherhand was still overwhelmed by everything going on.
Things got worse when Syd got a text. Apparently, one of their friends decided to have a sleepover. I was looking forward to getting rid of them for the night but was caught off guard when the girls suggested that I come with them. Even more caught off guard when Aunt Becky agreed that it would be a good idea.
"You would be able to meet some people at your new school and it would give you practice and confidence on wearing some of your new clothes and not being so self conscious."
I argued and I pleaded but to no avail. I was headed to a sleepover.
