W/N Hey I'd love some feed back on how the new story is doing!)

(Nathan's POV)

I walk out of the bathroom with my towel hanging low on my body. Jay's watching his newest obsession, Teen Wolf. He seems to be in the midst of battle, Scott McCall vs sleep.

"What are you doing?" I question, dropping the towel as I crawl into bed.

        "watching currents," he replies, indifferently.

"Last time I checked this is Teen Wolf." I correct him.

"Why would you ask, if you already know what I'm doing. Anyways, the episode is titled Currents." Jay huffs before breaking into giggles.

"Right now Scott and Allison are in a closet hiding from her dad, but tight spaces always lead to hard ons. Finally a show that expresses the proper reality and logic of life!" Jay informs me.

"Love, this show is based on a teenager who was turned into a werewolf and later has to fight dozens of other supernatural monsters. You just can not call this show logical and based on reality." I laugh.

"Whatever," he huffs. I hum, nodding in acknowledgement as I watch the addicting show before we both fall asleep.

 (Narrator's POV)

          "Nathan!" Jay screams.

"Hush baby, it's okay, I promise." Nathan coughs feebly.

"No, no it's not!" Jay sobs.

A loud cracking sound fills the air before a loud boom erupts. It was a gun. Nathan felt the vicious bullet tear through his skin, leaving a hole in his chest. He holds Jay as tight as he can, Jay's sobbing hysterically by now.

"Jay, baby, shh. If they hear you, they'll hurt you, too." Nathan cooed. Multiple bright lights flash in the one, tiny window on the door that leads upstairs. Jay hears the sirens and his heart soars at the thought. Nathan will be okay! Nothing else mattered to Jay. Nathan's grip on Jay loosened the same as his grip on life. He knew his end was nearing but he was willing to fight. If he didn't fight, Jay would be broken. The type of broken that can never be fixed.

Suddenly, a huge explosion went off a couple meters from Jay and Nathan. How could three people be so violent and vicious without a care in the world Nathan thought. He felt something go through his abdomen as large chunk of wall and plaster crashed violently against Nathan's head. Instantly, Nathan left consciousness because of the impact. Everything was black. And all Nathan could think of was that Nothing would ever be okay after this.

(Nathan's POV)

I woke up gasping for air, salty tears streaming down my face. It felt so real, I felt the bullet hole in my chest. "Nathy, come here babe," Jay cooes. I place my head in his shoulder, sobbing hysterically.

"Was it a nightmare again?" Jay asked calmly. I nod as he kisses the top of my head.

"I'm right here, I won't let anything happen to you, I promise. Now c'mon, we've still got a couple of hours to sleep." Jay says before kissing my lips gently. We lie down, Jay's body wrapped tightly around my own. Jay sang I'll be your strength, every word bbrushing my cheek lightly, until I'd fallen into a short, dreamless sleep.
