Did I really just almost kiss a boy I just met?? What is wrong with me?! I groaned as I flopped onto my bed in defeat. "Ah!!" I groaned. Why do I keep forgetting that every time I move it hurts?!?!? How can I forget...... I shuttered at the memory.

After our almost kiss, we decided to sit and watch a movie. Neither one of us made any movement to hold hands. We just sat there and watched. In the middle of the movie, he got a call from his mom. He left to go talk to her but never came back. I shrugged it off. I didn't care. And I shouldn't care. Why would I?

Suddenly, my phone chimed. That's weird.... The only person who ever texts me is Jeff. And he's off today. We're all off today, actually. Sunday's are our "reboot" day. Meaning the trainers and most of the nurses are able to go home and us patients don't have to do any exercises.

I laughed but soon stopped when I realized the time.

9:25!! Crap! Class starts at 9:30! I quickly put my phone in my back pocket grabbed my purse and slowly walked out of my room. Before I closed the door, I smiled as I saw my crutches leaning against my closet. Today was the first day in over 900 days that I got to leave my crutches behind. I locked my door and turned around walking to class.

9:29. Awesome!! Right on time. I walked through the classroom door but had to stop. Who knew that walking by yourself after 913 days of using crutches would be so hard!

I took a deep breathe when suddenly, someone bumped into me from behind. (Look at the attached gif! 😉)
