Beginning Chapter...

Toxic rain clouds ignorantly formed across the atmosphere of a once lively city now bathed in the crimson glow of the blood moon. On one of the rooftops of this place stood a disfigured black hedgehog with red stripes across his quills; he had three glowing green eyes that observed the quiet abandoned city and his legs took on a more demonic appearance with sharp protrusions at every joint. A tattered brown cloak chained together with golden relics and trinkets from the past flowed on him like a cape, breaking the silence with the ever-echoing gold rattles.

"Jinco..." he suddenly spoke with a deep malevolent voice. He raised his right arm, revealing a sharp claw that tore through his otherwise white glove.

"It would seem that you have progressed very well under my control," he said while gazing toward the depths below.

"Under my guiding hand, I shall transform you into the very thing HE failed to mold you into," he clenched his claws tightly into a bleeding fist. Just then, a loud crash perked his sharp ears, reminding him of the battle occurring below.

Deep down within the heart of a commercial district, we are suddenly met with a teenage variant of the boy named Tails, breathing heavily as he rewires his fritzing robotic arm. He leaned his back against a jewelry store with shattered glass windows. The teen sweated anxiously, not helped by the street lamps flickering on and off every now and then.

"By embracing the infinite dark abyss within your soul," the hedgehog's voice continued to echo throughout the city. Just then, Tails heard another collision a couple blocks down, only this time it was one of brick and bones. Fearing the worst, the young teen quickly fixed up his arm and revealed his twin tails. A blood-curdling cry gave the boy reason to hesitate, for his whole body began to freeze up. But he refused to be deterred, not when someone needed his help. He spun his namesake around like a propeller and dashed toward the distressed victim.

"You shall become my weapon."

Tails' sapphire irises trembled at the sight of a blood trail that led toward a pink hedgehog. Her body was severely wounded with slice marks everywhere; as if someone came by with a knife just to torture her. The closer the yellow fox came, the more open scars he found. The face especially appeared mutilated and yet, the hedgehog continued to move. Perhaps it was pure adrenaline that kept her alive, but Tails didn't care. The young man only took that opportunity to try to tend to her wounds.

"My devilish desire in physical form."

He took out medical tape and wrapped it around the hedgehog's arms and legs. Every layer continued to be stained with blood, similar to cleaning water disflow with paper towels. The fox didn't question what could've happened because he knew all too well.

"My sharpest blade that will cut down anyone that stands in my way."

Suddenly, the young man heard chains rattling in the distance. His body froze because he knew what exactly they were dealing with. Tails breathed heavily as he looked into the eyes of the monster's latest victim. A sinister laugh soon engulfed the rattles as Tails closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Slowly he stopped tending to the hedgehog's wounds and stood up with his arms fully extended forward. Tails slowly turned around only to see HIM, the one that snuffed out the last hope for this world.
