Chapter 10 - Deku Vs Kacchan

"PREPARE TO EAT EXPLOSIONS, SHITTY DEKU!" Bakugo screamed, glaring at Midoriya as he stormed to the battle area. I saw Midoriya physically shake. I don't know what's gone on in their past but it really can't be good. Bakugo needs to cool it down a little or this won't end very well.

Once both of the fighters had made their way over to the battle area, Aizawa gave them the go ahead and the battle began. Immediately, Bakugo blasted himself into the air and flew towards Midoriya, whose legs seemed to power up as he activated his Strength quirk and jumped out of the way of Bakugo. The latter readjusted his course and flew towards Midoriya again; the whole time Midoriya was muttering something.

Wonder what he's saying.

This game of cat-and-mouse continued for about a minute, with Bakugo getting visibly angrier every time Midoriya dodged. He went for Midoriya again but this time he managed to blast past him and let off an explosion in his face, which sent Midoriya reeling backwards. He wiped his face with the back of his hand and I could see blood coming from his nose. Bakugo sneered and said something to Midoriya that I couldn't hear, but Midoriya visibly paled at it. He replied (again, I couldn't hear what was said), and Bakugo hollered "BULLSHIT" before flying towards him again.

They really don't like each other huh

Bakugo seems to be taking no prisoners, he'd better not hurt Midoriya too much.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by a blast of wind and a thud, as Bakugo flew through the air and hit a tree. Midoriya had used his Quirk to fire a powerful gust of wind towards Bakugo while the explosive blond was in mid-air. Bakugo's rage was almost tangible now, and I'm pretty sure that the whole of Japan heard him scream, "OH, YOU'VE ASKED FOR IT NOW, YOU SHITTY DEKU!". I looked over to Midoriya to see that one of his fingers looked damaged, as if it was broken.

Yo what the fuck

D...did his Quirk do that? Jesus Christ...

If both Bakugo and his Quirk are causing him damage, then...

I don't know if I wanna know how this plays out.

Wait... Why am I so concerned? I literally met him yesterday.

Midoriya had a second blast aimed at Bakugo, who had pushed himself off from the tree and landed back in the arena. Aizawa, who was stood on the sidelines, looked over at Midoriya with look of concern on his face. You and me both, sensei.

Once more, Bakugo said something to Midoriya, and Midoriya replied. Whatever Midoriya said clearly wasn't what Bakugo wanted to hear, because he aimed his hands at Midoriya and set off a huge blast, easily double the size of any of his other attacks. Smoke filled the arena, blinding us all. Over the faint ringing in my ears, I could hear the coughs of our class.

I think he single-handedly added more to global warming right then than I have in a year, goddamn.
