*Knock knock*

"Come in," I heard Recovery Girl reply. I grabbed the door handle and opened the door with perhaps a little more force than necessary.

"Where's Midoriya?"

"He's over there. He's resting now, though," she answered. I thanked her and quickly made my way over to the bed she indicated. Midoriya was, as she said, resting. His burns didn't look as bad as I remembered, and his nosebleed had been cleaned up. His finger was looking a lot better too. Recovery Girl's quirk works really fast. He was sleeping, and he looked so peaceful. His hair had formed a sort of ring around his head, and it reminded me of a green halo. Light from the window bounced off of his face, making his freckles even more pronounced. I was hypnotised.

He does not have the right to be this beautiful.

I sat down carefully on one of the two chairs next to his bed, put one earphone in and started to think.

What's the deal with his Quirk? If it causes him injury, then maybe he wasn't really designed for it? I remember that Aoyama dude saying his Quirk gave him a stomach ache, and he didn't seem to be able to use it much in his fight before the pain became evident. Maybe both of their Quirks have stronger side-effects than their bodies can handle.

Midoriya's Quirk is very strong, especially if flicking his fingers while it is activated has that effect. It's quite similar to All Might's, in that it is a Strength-based Quirk. He seems like quite an All Might fanboy; he was really hyped yesterday when he thought we could do our project on All Might. What if he's a secret love child? Damn... that'd be weirddd...

"T- Todoroki?"

At the sound of Midoriya's voice, I quickly paused my music, pocketed my phone and turned to face him. His emerald eyes were only half open, and he looked groggy. He had just woken up, after all. "Are you feeling any better?" I asked.

"Y- yeah, I am, thanks. Recovery Girl's Quirk is really strong" he replied before stifling a yawn. Recovery Girl walked over to us and asked Midoriya if he felt able to go to class after dinner, to which he replied that he felt he would. She advised him to stay until the end of dinner, and offered to go and get him some food. Initially he declined, waving his arms around and saying he would go himself, but she eventually persuaded him to let her. As she left, she closed the door gently.

"Th- thank you for coming to visit me, Todoroki," Midoriya said, smiling over at me. I could feel my face start to heat up but I managed to control it.

"It's okay, Midoriya." Suddenly, Midoriya's face fell. "What's wrong?"

"I never got to see yours and Shoji's fight! I was taking notes on everyone's fights, but I didn't get to see yours. Who won??" He asked enthusiastically while searching for his notebook. I slowly pulled the book out of my pocket along with his All Might pen - I had seen them on the bench and quickly pocketed them en route to the changing rooms - and passed them to him, a grateful "Thank you" coming from his lips. He cracked the notebook open and stared eagerly at me as I tried to recount the events of the battle accurately. As I told him what had happened, he took down notes with incredible speed.

After I had finished, he slowly closed the notebook and congratulated me on my fight. "The way you told it makes me wish I was there to see it!"

"Heh, thanks, it wasn't too great, though,"

"Don't say that, it sounds like it was a tough fight! I'd have hated to go up against Shoji!" I muttered another "thanks" before giving Midoriya a small smile, which he returned with a massive one.
