"Get yo ass up gone be late",Devontae voice boomed through my ear

I picked up the phone and stale faced him

"First of ALL its 6:15 so I got time ",I said barely able to get my words out

He mumbled something under his breath. I slowly got out my bed to get ready . I grabbed my toothbrush and phone.

"Dam Zy you move slow as hell"',he said with a laugh

I continued to ignore him as I finish getting ready. I left the phone in the bathroom since he wanna laugh like it's so funny. I slid in my jeans and struggled to put on my purple shirt.

"By time you came back to get me ass just forgot about me",I continued to ignore him and flat iron my hair

Once I was done I hung up the phone and headed downstairs. The time read 7:20

Yes I get ready slow as hell in the morning . Then on top of that I don't like school so that just add to the fire.

I got out the car rushing into the school knowing if I'm not at my class by 7:40 I'm late. I rolled my eyes as kids walked slow . I turned the corner to my class just as the bell rung. I sighed knowing I barely made it .

Devontae~Ik yo lil head ass didn't leave without saying bye

Nigga acting like I'm not gonna see his ass here. I rolled my eyes and put my phone back in my pocket.

"Have a great rest of the day",was the last words my teacher said before everyone rushed out the door

Just as I turned the corner out the door I was met with Devontae.

"Keep on get yo lil ass beat early this morning",he said with that adorable smile of his showing his teeth

"Keep on gone get cursed out early this fine morning",I shot back with a mug

Instead of saying anything back he annoyed me the whole way to my next class. This is normal. Even when we wasn't together he annoyed me every chance that he got. Lunch time he really runs out but that's my fat nose baby so I don't mind.

"Hey Z you going to the game tonight",Kayla asked with a smile on her face

"Um I don't know",I said knowing dam well I wasn't going to go

Games wasn't really my thing. Especially basketball games they are very hot and congested. However,being there with ppl you feel at ease with make you forget all about the hotness and mustiness.

"Why you never wanna go nowhere with me",she said with puppy eyes

"You know I don't like games",I said with a pout

"If Devontae was there you'll go",she said confident

"Not really",I said in a mater fact my tone

Before she could finish Mr. Smith came in ready for class.
