We arrived home late on Sunday night.  In just a week's time, the baby has made itself known and her stomach has grown.  Tomorrow, I'll take Cora to my mothers to pick up Will and they'll go maternity shopping.  She's still small enough to hide the bump, but I wish she wouldn't hide it, she's beautiful.

She was very uncomfortable in her jeans, which worked in my favor.  It was an amazing honeymoon, and I plan to take her on a few of those trips every single year.

My life went from lonely, frustrating, stressful, and, honestly, unbearable, to happy and fulfilled.  It's amazing how these two people have improved my quality of life.  My wife, Will, and the anticipation of a new baby, truly gives my life meaning.

I go back to work tomorrow, but not until after Cora's doctor's appointment in the morning.  Today, Will and I have some important business to take care of, the building of our new home.  They break ground today, and I would like to meet with the architect to make positive he understands every single change Cora and I made to the plans.  Then, we have a meeting with the attorney about the adoption this afternoon.  I have a feeling with the baby coming into our lives, we'll stay busy like this for years to come.

It's cold in New York now. We haven't had our first snowfall, but its still cold.  Mom had taken Will for winter clothes, so I bundled him up before we left.  Since we are going to our property, he will get to see how much room we have for him to let out some of his energy.

While I talked to the architect, he watched the heavy equipment move the earth to dig our foundation.  It seems the architect understands the changes made and gave us a new copy of the plans. Eli will be flying up in a few days to look over the plans and meet with the contractor.  It's actually a cover for his true intentions, which is to propose to Jessica at central park.  Me and his father are the only ones that know, even Cora will be surprised when it happens.  I hope they make it without fighting over the stupid little things they argue over.  The week of our wedding, they argued over what kind of Cincinnati Chili is the best.  It was completely ridiculous.

When we were done, we picked up Cora and met with the attorney.  The adoption was scheduled only a few weeks away, so we're excited to get that done.  Cora fell asleep early,so I stayed up to play some video games with Will.  He still seems to be doing okay, which is a blessing.  I feel like I'm waiting for the shoe to drop and for him to act out.  He has been through too much, and all these changes have to be affecting him, but he hasn't yet shown any worrisome behavior.  He has seen a therapist a few times just because Cora and I want to help him with all these changes.

The next day, we dropped Will off at school and went for our appointment.  I could tell she was nervous, so I held her hand.  She decided she wanted to know the sex of the baby, so this is a big day for both of us.  The moment the wand touch her belly, we heard that heartbeat.  She became even more amazing to me, as I can't imagine what it would be like to have another human being growing inside me.

"Are you ready to hear the sex of your baby?" The technician asked.

Cora looked up at me, and I squeezed her hand before she looked back at the screen and said yes.

"Well Dad, I hope you are ready for a little linebacker.  This little guy is certainly healthy.  Congratulations,  you're having a son." She said, and Cora cried just a little, I let out a breath of relief.  I haven't had much luck with little ladies and being responsible for them.

Cora was so happy, but I'm mostly relieved they are both healthy.  I hope Will likes the idea of a little brother, I think he'll be happy.

Cora and I finally found the perfect nanny.  She is a little older than us with plenty of experience and will move in with us before Christmas.  She's from the UK, so spending the holidays with us won't be a problem.  Cora being Cora, made friends with her quickly.

My mom, along with Wilma, have taken a cruise together in the Mediterranean, while our dads took a golfing trip to Scotland.  With our parents being gone together, the nanny saved us on many occasions.  Cora is busy picking decor for our home in Kentucky and she's already met with the designer for our new house.  I catch her trying to cut corners, but this is the home we plan to live in for the rest of our lives.  I encourage her not to pick out anything cheap, we need things to last and be well built.

The holidays came quickly, and I realized there's one thing she will spend money on, and that's Will.  She's going to spoil that boy, so I have to keep a close eye on what she spends.  Eli and Jessica stayed with us for a short vacation, and, yes, they did become engaged.  The next morning, they fought about baby names for our son.  I swear they do it just to make up.

The holidays came and went, our new home took shape, and, finally, I got to see my bride actually look pregnant.  She became more and more uncomfortable as time went on, and her cravings tripled.  She is always chewing on ice and wants strawberry cheesecake for some reason.  Thankfully, the hotel gave her many choices and I never had to run out in the middle of the night.  Our chef always made sure he had the finest of sweets set aside for my beautiful wife.

Spring came, and the house finally was complete.  We were both relieved we could move in before the baby came.  My sister apologized to Cora several times, but my wife is always so forgiving.  Isabella is coming around, but is a little pissed our dog is named Izzy.  We call for the dog and she thinks we are calling for her, its hilarious.  She will be moving into the penthouse because she now works for our company.

Moving wasn't too bad, we only had to take our personal belongings, and the baby's things were kept there after the many baby showers our mothers threw.

The day finally came, where we had to go to Kentucky and wait for our baby.  Cora is more beautiful than ever, and, I have to admit, I take advantage of her hormones.  She also says sex can bring on labor, which now I regret.  I feel like a slave trying to give her what she needs, sometimes more than once a day.
