you and ethan stopped at a little diner in town only 30 minutes away from home. you both got out of the car and walked inside; you took a seat at a booth and waited for the waiter.

"how the hell did we stay up all night? i'm not even tired." You giggled.

ethan laughed. "me neither. it was probably the best night of my life though."

you smiled at him and looked into his eyes. "me too.. i wish it would have never ended."

"well there has to be an end sometime or else we'll never be able to do it again."

you smiled at him. "again?"

"only if you want. i'll make it different any time you want to go, it will be like a new adventure every time."

"ethan that sounds amazing." You said as he smiled at you.

Eventually the waiter walked to your booth and you both ordered pancakes, of course.

it was about 7:15 when you and ethan were finished.  you got into ethan's car and he drove you home.

you arrived at your house and looked at ethan. "thank you for the amazing night ethan."

he smiled at you. "any time.. seriously."

you both laughed. "so i'll see you at lunch?"

"of course" he smiled and you kissed his cheek; you got out of his car and waved at him as he drove away.

you walked into your house and started getting ready for your lunch date in a few hours.

grayson woke up by the sound of me opening the door to our apartment. "bro wtf." he said loudly but groggily

I walked to the doorway of Grayson's room. "sorry."

"it's so early. where have you been?" he sat up.

"out.." I said, focusing my attention on the floor.

"all night?" Grayson questioned.

"yep."

Grayson's eyebrows drew together. "why?"

"y/n was having a hard time sleeping so.. i went over there and took her on an 'adventure.'"

"she texted you first?"

I raised my eyebrow at him. "Uhh.. yeah? why?"

"oh idk. just wondering i guess." grayson sat on the edge of his bed while I went into your bathroom to take a shower.

I checked my phone and saw a text from y/n.

y/n: "hey gray.. you up?"

fuck i knew she texted me first.. after that moment we had, i knew she would have texted me first.

I put my phone down and got up to get some breakfast.

you were about to get in the shower when you saw a text from grayson.

Gray: "hey sorry y/n, i was asleep."

Y/n: "i figured lol"

gray: "so.. an adventure with ethan huh?"

y/n: "yeah, i couldn't sleep."
