2019 -
You've tested me
Messed with me and crept on me
I slept on me and you checked me
By arresting me for giving less to me
My status was torn down to its lowest
Emotions out the box i couldn't control it
Thoughts bouncing around overflowing
My walls of avoidance exploded
My comfort was stolen
Im left open and i feel broken
Im starting to feel hopeless
I know im growing but at the same time I don't feel as golden
My mind is buffering and the clip of my heart is still loading
But the colors of my soul are showing
Then and there i realized the importance of evolving and glowing
I've learned my most valuable lessons
Addressing the things I wasn't addressing
Seen how people could use me for finessing
Being lonely can be depressing and you can feel the pressure but the key is oppressing what they measure
Love will find you in your essence
Focus on what keeps you present
Whats around you in your presence
Things might not go as planned but the reset is the message
With patience you will receive all your biggest blessings
Things can't stay the same because that leads to regression
With change, you and your surroundings lead to progression
The last thing you want to do is to be stuck looking behind you at the past tense
You got this
Take heed to what you've learned
Apply it to this transition into adulthood
It'll be your book of guidance for when you seek to understand what you may have misunderstood
