You quickly jumped got up and turned to May
"This can't be happening...." You shouted in panic
"Oh! But it is! You see inorder to beat that little brat! We need you! Yes you! To beat her!" May exclaimed
"T-this isn't right! Right Steven?" You looked back at Steven and he was still unconscious.
"Well he's knock down cold!" Brendon said
You ran to cross both your name and Steven's name but it was too late the man already took the list and took it.
"W-wait! I would like to remove a name from the list! Two names actually!" You call running up to the man
The man just ignores you and walks off with the list, you tried your best to stop him but he just pushed you away.
"You know what? Fine.. this is good I guess.." you mumbled trying to calm yourself
"Yeah! See? Told you she'll do it!" May exclaimed
You watch the twelve year old girl bugging her twelve year old friend about you, you understand that most kids would probably think an adult or a young adult could do anything. But sometimes you'd just like to try to Tell them nicely that not everyone can do anything- 'wait can a twelve year old be considered a chid' you silently debated with your when you felt someone leaning in you you turned to see who it is and to your surprise it was Steven behind you arms wrapped around your hips while his head was resting on your shoulder.
"S-steven! W-What are you?" You were redder that a tomato
Steven chuckled and nuzzled your neck causing you to let out small moans
May and Brendon were watching wiggling their eye brows at you and Steven
"You get so flustered easily (Y/n)-chan~" Steven cooed in your ear
You froze 'Steven never called you '(Y/n)-chan! Was this some sort of prank? A trick?'
Before your could respond Carina and Wally walk up to you, immediately May and Brendon covered their eyes and made th turn around and head back to their seat since there was an announcement. You and Steven looked up at the stage.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! AND PERFORMERS OF ALL AGES! THE COMPETITION WILL START IN SIX HOURS! THAT SHOULD GIVE YOU ENOUGH TIME TO GET EVERYTHING READY! NOW FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SIGNED UP PLEASE HEAD TOWARDS OUR LOVELY DRESSING ROOMS! FOR WE HAVE AMAZING COSTUMES FOR YOU ALL!" the man said with enthusiasm.
"Well? Come on guys" Brendon smiled and walked to the dressing room causally
May followed behind and so did you and Steven.
After choosing your outfits you and Steven were in your own little practice area preparing for the competition!
"What's wrong Steven?" You asked looking at them man who was fiddling with his gloves.
"It's just... I've never really performed nor danced before..." Steven confessed
"Didn't you dance during the championship meeting?" You asked
Steven shocked his head
"No, sadly I've never danced before." Steven looked down in shame
You walked up to him And take his hands into yours
"Then let me teach you.." you smiled
Steven blushed, you turned on the music and grabbed his hands placing one on your hip and one in your hand
