The Slithersong is a large Mystery Class dragon and a close relative of the Death Song. It is known for luring you in with its enchanting melody, and then going to immobilize you with a ferocious strike. Then it will shoot an amber substance that will harden and leave their victims unable to move. The Slithersong is a solitary dragon which tends to live alone due to its diet of other dragons. However, Dark Melody has been trained and doesn't consume other dragons. Instead she eats a variety of meats: boar, mutton and deer. Dark Melody will not consume fish though she does enjoy eel. Dark Melody is a rather sassy dragon, similar to Hookfang, and doesn't allow anyone but Gunhild to ride her. The one time she has allowed anyone to ride her was Hiccup, but he has been unable to since.
