It's cold and windy when Jack texts me at 10:00 pm that he wants to hang out tonight. I ask my 15 year old sister if she can back me up if my parents ask where i am and shortly after I quietly walk down the stairs and out the two door entrance.

Some might say I'm rich but honestly it isn't all that since you can't buy happiness and its not to easy around here when your parents are always yelling. When i get to Jacks house I text him and he sneaks out the back door then we go to Ryan's house since his parents are out of town. By the time we get there Jack introduces me to Zack and Alex.

I thought Alex was kinda cute but I didn't want to admit it to myself. A couple hours after midnight, a red car pulled up in front of Ryan's house and yelled my name "Hey Violet! Why are you hanging with these pussies when you could be in my bed with me doing what you know you've always wanted to do!"

shit!! it was my ass whole ex boyfriend, whats Alex gonna think?! What will he think if he thinks I actually wanted to be with that kind of guy... He's not my taste. ugh what now?!!" Jack yells back at my ex and his other 5 friends "why would we be pussies if you yell that instead of coming over and taking her!" my ex gets pissed off and yells for me to get in his car and to give him a little treat in the backseat.

Jack gets annoyed so he gets up and puts his hands on my face with his lips on mine as i can feel his warm tongue go into my mouth and his hands go around my waste onto my ass. In a way it was nice, but Jack was drunk and plus he just wanted my ex to shut up, i'v known Jack since the 8th grade and now hes kissing me?

It was a make out I never expected but when he let go i saw his eyes looking at mine when he winked at me. It wasn't the first time we kissed so it wasn't to special, but i didn't want to kiss Jack in front of Alex. My ex gets mad and gets out of the car with 5 others.

I was so surprised when Alex and Jack go and try to fight them as Zack and Ryan are in shock of whats happening.

I scream for all of it to stop and my ex leaves with a bloody nose saying "I gave them a chance to live just because I know you want to fuck me and you can't if I'm in jail" "ugh fuck off ass whole!" i yell and pick up my friends from the wet grass with the help of Zack and Ryan.

Were inside when I bandage Jack and Alex while Ryan makes them something to eat and Zack gets the couch ready for the night since we can't leave the house for two reasons: 1, every ones been drinking and 2 we don't know what my ex might do if I don't have my guys around to help me.

I sleep in Ryan's parents' room and text Jack to sleep in here, when he lays down with me i hug him and tell him to stop doing stupid things for me.

He laughs and says "your amazing Violet and I will never let anyone treat you the way that ass whole did to you, your special to me and ill do anything to help you" I smile and tell Jack he's the best friend i'v had since ever.

We fall asleep and during the night I dream of making out with Alex, Alex Gaskarth, the boy who I crushed on and never met till tonight, and the boy who stood up for me with my best friend.

I woke up the next morning and realized Jack had left the bed before I woke up. I go downstairs and surprisingly see Alex sitting on the couch with his skinny jeans and his Blink 182 shirt he wore last night with his messed up hair and a warm coffee in his hands, he looked so cute just sitting there with a thinking face on.

I go downstairs wearing only Jacks shirt he let me wear last night, it fit like a dress so it didn't matter so much to me.

I go sit in front of Alex on the coffee table and asked if he was OK. The first thing I hear come out of his mouth is "Are you and Jack going out?"

"no"

"did you like his kiss last night? and why did you two sleep together last night?"

"Alex i'v known Jack since I was in the 8th grade, he's like my best friend and it's now awkward since i'v known him so long."

Alex is quiet and suddenly says "was that your first time makin out with him? And the first time you two slept in th same bed?"

"no, and why would you care?"

Suddenly Jack and Ryan walk in with breachfast from a close restaurant. "Oh look who's finally up" Jack says, I laugh and say goodmorning "wheres Zack?" I ask, "he had to go early this morning before his parents found out where he was" said Ryan.

We finally started eating Jacks favorite burritos and everyone exept for Ryan and me had a hangover. As  I was leaving with Jack on my car I said goodbye to Ryan and Alex with a smile.

My parents were gone to work by the time Jack and I got to my house, I didn't go to school today so we spent the whole day at my house so Jacks mom wouldn't worry about Jacks bruises and scratches from the metal on the jackets.

I put makeup on Jack before he got home and right before my parents got home around 9:00pm. After that day Alex and I text every day with lol and lmao. We started to hang out just  me and him at his house when his parents were gone and we always talked, for some reason he was so amazing and fun with a hot sense of humor. Did I like Alex in that way now? Did I see something I didn't see before?
