"A reading from the Holy Gospel" The priest spoke loudly from in the church that the Quinn and McCool family were sat in with the teenagers that were visiting from Chernobyl sat at the front.
"Which one's ours?" Orla asked Erin since technically Erin was the one the Russian teen was visiting.
"I don't think she's technically ours, Orla." Alana said but was ignored when Erin answered "she didn't send a photo. Her family probably don't even own a camera. She'll find Derry a bit overwhelming at first, just because of how advanced everything is here. All the cracker stuff we have"
"They have some pretty cracker stuff where she comes from, too, Erin," Orla told her cousin.
"Oh, really? Like what? Disease? Poverty?" Erin asked dramatically but that didn't seem to faze Orla who just explained what cracker stuff they had in Chernobyl "No. You can get this wee woman made of wood, right? You pull her apart and inside here there's an even wee-er wooden woman, and you pull the wee-er wooden apart-" she was cut off by Erin who asked Alana "is she talking about Russian dolls?"
"I think so yeah" Alana nodded before she explained to Orla "I'm pretty sure you can get them over here as well, Orla"
After the collection basket went round the priest said: "This is the word of the Lord" before he ushered everyone to sit down in their pews "And today we welcome some very special guests, the weans from Chernobyl, who've come over to give their wee lungs a bit of a clear out, because, ah, sure, there's all sorts wafting around in their neck of the woods. Sister" he invited Sister Michael to stand.
"Lovely job so far, Seamus, but you know, keep it moving. Raw Hide's on in fifteen minutes." Sister Michael told the stand-in Priest before she turned to the audience and Chernobyl teenagers and said "Now, one might question the wisdom of sending you here, of all places. Out of the frying pan into the, well, maybe not the fire, but certainly a different type of frying pan. Or some sort of wok at the very least. But please don't worry yourselves too much about the whole civil war, sectarian conflict carry on. There's just one thing you need to know. We're the goodies. Welcome to Derry."

"It's class, isn't it?" Erin asked the girl who was clad in dark colours with dark lipstick and a disgruntled expression.
"Hmm. It's much how I imagine." The girl hummed.
"Oh, because of my letters? Well, descriptive narrative has always been a strong point" Erin said proudly but the girl only waved it off and said "No, not your letters. I see on news"
"What do you mean, you've seen on news? You don't have news in the Ukraine. You don't have televisions" Erin asked shocked and the girl foreign girl started to argue "Yes, we do" to which Erin stuck by her thoughts and said "No, you don't" but the dark-haired girl still tried to convince the blonde "we do" which finally convinced Erin "Really?" "Of course,"
