Arlo's Birthday!

Part 10: Visions

Elaine was confused. Arlo and John had been standing side by side. What were they doing? And Arlo's words not wanting drama in his life... she could relate to that. Those two parts of the vision wasn't what was scaring her. It was the girl. Elaine didn't know who she was, but she had a strange feeling that somehow she was related to John. 

Fix this issue.

Fix John.

 How would she fix John? He hated her, and she had no big influence over anyone. How would she fix anything?

Isen woke up in the infirmary with sweat running down his head, and looked at Blyke and Remi that had decided to stay by him this night. They also were awake, with scared faces.

Isen: You guys couldn't have...

Blyke + Remi: Fix this issue. Fix John.

Isen turned paler than he ever had been before. 

Remi: Obviously this means the Joker issue. So I guess the people that know about John got this vision?...

Blyke: Lets ask Arlo and ask about this.

BLYKE                                                                                                                      ARLO

Hey Arlo, did you have a dream?

A dream? No. Why?

Oh... Never mine! Have a good day!                                                                                                                              

Ok.

Blyke: He... didn't have this vision. 

Remi: Maybe fixing this issue will include us more than Arlo. But... who was that girl?

Isen kept thinking. He had seen that face before. Somewhere... but he couldn't recall where. But it had something to do with John, he was sure of it.

Arlo stared at the birds on the tree, twittering and free.  Free of chaos. 

Your plan will fail. 

Arlo blinked, and spun around. No one was there, other than some students walking around on campus, but a smoky aura overcame him.

The only way to solve this chaos, is to beat John.

Arlo gritted his teeth. He had tried to beat John already, but he couldn't. That was why he made his deal.

Arlo: Who are you doubt me? 

I know John better than you do, and he is a monster.

Arlo shook his head. John was a monster, but Arlo felt responsible. He had created him. And he would be the one to change John back, or at least subdue him. 

Arlo: Who are you?

John's friend.

Arlo nearly laughed. If this person was John's friend they would want to help John, not destroy him.

Arlo: Look, I don't like John, but I regret what I did to him. His ability is strong and valuable...

You only care about his ability, and hierarchy. I can help you beat him, and help you reclaim your throne. I can make you stronger than him.

Arlo: I was just saying that he's important to our community. Anyway, goodbye. 

I have people to sabotage you. 

Arlo: I don't believe you. 

If you say so.

The strange ominous aura dissipated, leaving Arlo alone in the courtyard.

You'll regret this Arlo... he's someone you can't contain.

The girl sighed, and thought about John. 

No one can contain John.
